Where can you listen to it?

I listened to it on the WYS podcast. I think the full interview is released on Tuesday.

Top thinks the play offs are the target lol

Absolutely achievable. The division is terrible. Oxford were terrible. We were terrible. But there's enough talent in the squad to put a decent run together.

That interview really exposes Top. Naive, and weak.

He didn’t even seem to know Marti would be getting sacked, THE OWNER OF THE CLUB.

I wonder if they had a meeting, Marti said I need backing in the window, club said we can’t do that so they sacked him. That’s the only logic I can apply to this without any sources.

OPA didn’t even ask hard, pressing questions and yet he still came across as utterly incompetent and lost.

Every team that has put together 8 straight wins in the Championship has won it that season.

5 straight wins would put us right in the playoffs.

3 straight wins and we can breathe easy on relegation.

I think it's probably more to do with the fact that he's fvck!ng crap.

Our best run this season has been winning two games in a row. We've done that once.

I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying.

Top didn’t seem like he was planning on sacking him until after that interview. Which means it was concerningly knee jerk/unplanned. When in reality he should have known Marti was getting sacked during that interview, nevermind the fact he should have been sacked months ago.

Yes.

We've been a bunch of apathetic moribund has-beens and dogshit individuals on ridiculously high salaries led by a cuck who is apparently the last senior leader out standing on the burning deck of HMS Piss The League after its scuttling in harbour by mysterious forces.

BUT the point the guy was making was, there must be enough good parts lying around in the debris to build a paddle.

What comes across is Top is more a fan and less an owner, there's so much optimism that things will get better but he doesn't make it happen enough.

He delegates the management and sets the vision, and that's about it. The contrast between him and someone like Tony Bloom is wild - he has to stop being loyal to the people around him (who appear to take advantage of his confidence) and make the changes, getting modern, high quality people in the positions rather than dinosaurs like Rudkin. If not, he has to go.

What talent is this? I know of winks(if hes not spitting his dummy out) JJ (hes out) ramsey (hes out) other than that there is Fatawu (if he feels like it and or the defence let him cut inside for his party trick) who else?

We have history of coming from way down the table and making the top 6. Didn't Adams and O Neill do it if I'm not mistaking.

So, While it's possible we habe to try and believe.

He clearly struggles in English. As others have said he is naive and his optimism is more than a touch delusional.
My overall impression is his heart is probably in the right place but he just doesn’t project one iota of competence or confidence that he can turn things around and certainly not if he retains loyalty and trust in Dudkin.

This short interview confirms all my worst fears that he is not up to it.

option a) the points deduction is known and isn't severe (in the 3-5 point range), so a run of form puts us right in the mixer.

option b) he's completely delusional

sad thing is, I don't think you can rule out option b that easily.
