CrispinLA in Texas Posted 1 January Posted 1 January How come Sheffield are favorites to win while we are around 3/1 🤷🏽

Chelmofox Posted 1 January Posted 1 January Must mean Faes is definitely out and going. And nice to see Jannik on the bench and not straight back in the side. Although, he won't like not being 1st choice for much longer. I presume Ayew is knackered (looked dead towards the end of Derby), and Daka has been home for 5 mins. Silko going to run them ragged and then we bring Daka on to do the same. I think we win this.
MC Prussian Posted 1 January Posted 1 January Would be fantastic news if Faes, Soumaré and Winks could be sold this month, freeing up space... for an actual striker (and maybe another defender). Also a dear goodbye to Carranza. It pains me to see you leave after making such a huge impact. 1
Popular Post coolhandfox Posted 1 January Popular Post Posted 1 January (edited) Wanya probably get it because he has some experience in the Championship. Silko ran his bollocks of and has been rewarded, maybe he's not good enough, but rewarding hard work should never be underrated. If you want to bin off the likes of Winks, Soumare et al you have to suck it up. Edited 1 January by coolhandfox 8

The Doctor Posted 1 January Posted 1 January I mean, it's something different to Ayew and Silko did do well Monday evening, but if it's that dire, why are we not trying out some of the bigger prospects who are ripping it up at u21s. Surely we benefit more from getting Hutchinson or Evans blooded more than another McAteer type technically limited grafter. (also, how much longer does Mav have to be out of form before Monga gets the starts instead?)
Claridge Posted 1 January Posted 1 January actually excited for a change, delighted to see thomas play,

Claudio Fannieri Posted 1 January Posted 1 January This lot playing Kasabian before game, fecking use the Human League or Def Leppard …..fcuking scruffs 😂😂 1
Finnegan Posted 1 January Posted 1 January Bamford and Cannon nailed on to score just to take the piss innit.
Spudulike Posted 1 January Posted 1 January Are they trolling us playing Kasabian in pre-match build up?

In respect of Evans if youre good enough youre old enough, we havent seen enough of him at senior level to make that judgement but we know for a fact that Ayew is not good enough so why not give Evans a chance. Evans was closer to the first team when we were in the PL so it's clearly a matter of judgment rather than him objectively not being ready. Isn't King mean't to be the link between youth and first team, clearly he doesn't feel he is ready yet ? I agree though he should probably be given a chance at least to prove his worth but maybe the coaches think it's not the right time ?
UniFox21 Posted 1 January Posted 1 January Comms referring to Hamza and Thomas as an ex-blades feels a weird stretch given they're both Leicester academy players
beepee1984 Posted 1 January Posted 1 January No Faes or Carranza in the squad Bye, nice knowing you - take Winks with you please
