Defensively one of the worst midfielders I've ever seen, offered no attacking threat, couldn't progress the ball forward, wasn't physical, couldn't run. Apart from that, a city legend

I'm not too fussed about the feeling. The fact we got one I'd a bonus. He could have gone for free and he's off our wage bill earlier than we thought.

It's all a win win. Bye Bouba...thanks for nout.

17,000,000 Qatari Riyal equals £3,388,281.90

this sounds more reasonable as a fee that we'd receive and sell for. Wouldn't be the first time the rumours got the currency wrong

Any chat of anything north of 4m and people need to give their head a wobble. He had 6 months left of his contract, use your brains people, let alone how useless he is lol

There’s no doubt that any fee will be gratefully received but a player , a championship one at that, in the last 6 months of his contract isn’t going to generate a fee of note and maybe even not enough to cover the remaining part of his fee yet to be amortised.

There will be quite significant savings wages wise but will that enable new players to come in. If no one of note signs in the next few days then even though his skills are questionable this is all about cutting costs further

Any fee is going to be creative accounting. Can’t think of a work around where they pay us his o/s wages as a fee and we pay off nis contract.  Presumably because his deal ends June 30, all monies out and in on him balance.

I have spent a year in Qatar.  If he was homesick coming here, he's going to really struggle over there.

My sympathies, spent 2 weeks and couldn't wait to escape.

I’d be delighted with £1m.

We’d have been better off playing Josh Knight instead of this dosser. His pressure data on fbref at the tine was low for a DM and Lille played a weird 4 CM system, should have swerved on the back of that.

£45m ish on fees on him and Praet, neither to be first choice players. Probably £90m with wages included. PSR didn’t make us sign this shit

Haha and people wonder why many of us are so angry

This will be my only post on this transfer with regards to the Jogging Donkey as he's barely worth the typing energy.

I don't care what the fee was.

Excellent news that he's gone.

One less exorbitant wage on the books.

But most of all -

FVCK OFF AND NEVER COME BACK !!!!!

He did that mad run against Ipswich but other than that, I think he hit the bar against Spartak and Man Utd?

Icon.

He probably had 10-12 good games out of 92. Hardly a good return on the investment
