How many times do we put on an extra CB on when we are defending a lead. It just invites them to play in our last third. They even respond by putting another striker on.

Been absolutely Robbed of a man of the match award by a bunch of cowards!

 

Though he was class throughout, Can see why he’s rated highly by Pep and his attitude from the off was to get the fans involved. 
 

1 Goal 1 assist and numerous occasions where playing football looked effortless for him.

First team championship football is way faster and more intense than PL2. Add to that the adrenaline of making your professional debut and it’s going to take a lot out of you.

He was excellent and he has a bit of physicality as well. Good goal and pressing. I think he looks a nailed on starter at number 10.

Unfortunately as much as we call for the kids to be played/start you can see why it doesn’t happen… the drop off from Mukasa (a kid himself) to Page was one of many contributing facts to last nights s**t show!

 

On the plus side Mukasa looks like some player and potentially could be one of a few differences in our favour between going down and staying up

As much as he can be a little sloppy with “simple” passes it’s clear to see the quality he possesses. 
 

A future premier league playmaker I’m sure and it shows the difference in academies when you compare him to our 18 year olds.

Needs more support from his #8 to function in that AMF role I guess. Looked better when Winks decided to start doing his job properly second half.

Can we now stop all the “generational talent” crap about who’s coming out of our academy, this lad has more talent than all of them and yet some still picking holes in him during the match thread.
They are on course to be decent players & have decent careers but not 1 of them is a generational talent.

He was brilliant. 4 goal contributions in 3 games and he should have had more. His touch map summed him up, he was everywhere! His link-up play with Mavididi was great too, it reminded me of KDH.

 

Once we get him and JJ into the team we will pick up wins. I was very impressed by him today.
