Puts us 20th

I dont know what is more ridiculous.

1. The fact we were 17th in this piss poor league before the points deduction.

2. The fact that we could (but wont) still make the play offs because, this is a piss poor league!

3. The fact we have by far the highest wage bill in the league but an absolutely disgusting group of players.

Fecking horrible club and we need a full reset!

-6 points is an absolute result. We should take our medicine and move on imho.

The whole PSR debacle has been such a distraction, and it's damaged the club horribly. The points deduction is hopefully the end of it. To contest it just draws out the whole sorry saga yet further.

This gives us some closure and it's time to concentrate on not being relegated. My fear is that Top and KP won't do that, they will use a potential appeal to try and create a narrative that it's this judgement that has put is in peril rather than admitting that it's their total mismanagement that's put us here. Ultimately, this will prove to be more distraction when the focus should be 100% on survival now.

-6 points is a result. Shut up and take it.

I completely agree, however what if we end up being relegated by goal difference and an appeal would have saved us? (Just to confirm I absolutely don't advocate an appeal, however it is something they will have to consider).

We have previously been in administration…

We got promoted to the top flight the season we were in administration.

There's a decent chance we are in league one for the second time in our history next season. If not you can still only see things getting worse for us in the near future.

Yeah, that's a fair point, however after we got away with it last time, I just can't see that happening.

I completely agree, 6 points feels a little like we have got away with it, and we should get on with trying to actually win some games of football! I actually think this hanging over us hasn't helped on the pitch, hopefully now we can move on now.

Considering the Teams down at the bottom with us with the new players providing a buzz we should be able to get back up the table quickly.

That's assuming the players buy into it.  Looking forward to Saturdays game.

Agree

We were stupid and cheated and compounded it by stealing our way out of the charge last time AND then were totally obstructive.  Whoever is responsible, and we can all fathom a pretty good guess, needs to put up and shut up and get behind AK or whoever and the players.

I hope the new recruits will give us enough solidity at the back and energy going forward to keep us up.  We won a decent amount of games earlier in the season.  They've really got something to play for AND some of them have GOT to stay, Thomas, Vesty, Hamza.  There is also plenty of time.  And the teams around us now are shocking, Charlton & Oxford were v poor even winning.

I'm still very optimistic, what else can we be?  16 pivotal games in the clubs history.

I agree with you, although it might feel like it I was just pointing out we are not currently at our lowest point

Get the feeling we've got out of jail with 6 points but also have the feeling that with this bunch of players we have the get back in jail quickly card. Andy King and the new loan players will need to make  big difference.

While the Commission’s findings significantly reduced the unprecedented scale of the sanction originally sought by the Premier League, the recommendation remains disproportionate and does not adequately reflect the mitigating factors presented, the importance of which cannot be overstated given the potential impact on our sporting ambitions this season.

This from the commission's decision sums up the club at the minute.
"LCFC did not consistently adopt or maintain a position that assisted the expeditious resolution of these proceedings. Its protestations of admission of breach were qualified and accompanied by myriad arguments that, in material respects, denied liability. As in life and politics, one cannot have one’s cake and eat it too."
