Salmon or The Western depending on the KO time.

Salmon are usually more for Saturday 3pm KO with The Western being frequented prior to a night match for a quick one. Salmons opening times are funny and irregular so don't sit well on a 12.30 Saturday game

Swan and Rushes then a wander down to the Turnstile, back in the turnstile after before wondering to the Western and settle in…

No idea if any of them are still there.

Used to love the Victory, it was good half way point from the station to the ground. Been shut for 16 years, not sure of the situation with it. Said it was set to be demolished for a car park extension but since then nothings happened, would be great if was reopened even if supporters club look to take it over. Maybe joint project between Tigers supporters club and the foxes.

Numbers going to the FBar look to have plummeted, never anyone stood outside these days.

Used to be the Swan and Rushes. That was great in its heyday. Then when that changed hands, or whatever happened to it, started going to the Peel but the rather aggressive door policy started to put me off and my elderly Dad didn't really like the lack of space. Now usually go to the Globe for some food and a pint which is not the greatest pub but is relatively laid back and civilised.

Used to religiously drink in the Salmon then work our way into town. Not been in the Salmon for a good two year or so, think it kind of died when they ripped the old bar out and replaced it with the new one(personal opinion).

Now the Highcross, Oneills, duffys every now and then. Recently been going to 72 bar - very good.

Miss the Swan badly. Can't believe it went really given it's location and the fact it was constantly busy on matchdays (presumably for the Tiiiiigers as well).

But that's the problem. It was only busy when the city or Tigers were at home. If you ever went in on a weeknight it was usually dead.

Plenty of pubs function of one or two very busy days a week. If it's decent enough it would still get a crowd for midweek away games on TV etc, Leicester just don't have that pull in the city. There's not really a go to sports pub or bar in the city dedicated to it's teams which is a shame.

The Corn Exchange or The Distillery usually. If I’m late, because of child care, I’ll usually just go straight into the ground for a few (unfortunately).
