I went today for the first time since Winning the Championship at Deepdale. Those that follow the ‘Non-League’ thread will see I’m more invested in Step 3 these days.

Was Intruiged to see the turn out. I get the message is needed but I can’t help but think who the hell would take our Club on. Anyone with an ounce of acumen would know that we aren’t a viable business proposition. That’s said, it’s not grounds to stay quiet.

The saddest part of the whole thing is the whole game experience. Standing in North, there’s an air of acceptance that we are completely gone. No anger from anyone when the goals went in. It’s looked and sounded like we’re all done. On field was awful. Pitiful. All very sad

That's not the world, that's the UK :)

I'm on your side here, I want the ownership to sell up too, but please don't lie. It only harms your case.

It's broadcast all over the world. Plus the social media reach which by definition is international. BBC/Final Score have picked up on it as well, pretty much as international as a new outlet as you get.

Like others have said if you're actually King Power out this is a strange thing to get hung up on.

What I find bizarre is the narrative amongst the Facebook lot that we want the club to fail.

Not one of us on that protest wanted to be doing what we did today.

Not one of us wanted us to lose today.

I found it ironic that our opponents today are probably on a par with our fanbase in terms of tameness, yet even they managed a proper protest where the majority were behind it.

You know why? Because they either didn't experience it, or didn't care, the last time we were this low.

I was in my late teens when we went down to the third division for the first time ever. Fvck me, that hurt. It still does. Despite all that's happened since.

Where were these people in that following season who now lecture us on being entitled because we don't remember the bad times? Nowhere to be seen.

How do I know that? Because I had to work a lot of Saturdays and couldn't afford a season ticket then  - but I got tickets to every single away game I could go to, where allocations were three figures, rather than four. Imagine that now!

Anyway, getting off track. But we KNOW what it's like for our club to fail. These cvnts weren't there. And if they were, they should fvcking well know better than opposing the people standing up for OUR club today.

dont get started on them, All respect to them but im pretty sure they eat paint as a snack while they were young because i honestly dont know how some people can be so incredibly dense

all these people saying thru the good times and the bad yet i bet most of them dont go and watch the crap

also its the incredible mismanagement of the club, how they cant even get past that its frankly shocking and could cause the club to get into an even worse position or even not exist(worse comes to the wose)

but some of these "facebook fans" are completely ignorant

i say one say King Power said us from going bust......like yeah of course they did, pretty sure they brough the club when it was on a pretty stable footing

Saw this today and will be boycotting St Martins Coffee until they end this partnership. Plenty of other local coffee businesses that haven't decided that now of all times is the perfect time to collaborate with the club.

I had a heated discussion with one such fellow who described the protest as a waste of time and full of “students and communist” looking types. He also said a new owner would take money out of the club.

These people are thick as pig shit and you can’t reason with them. We will spiral down and down and sadly a lot of the fanbase will have been complicit.

This is the lazy uncaring and thoguhtless response to EVERY PROTEST EVER.

Made by people who dont care about anything and are just mouthpieces for corporations and media.

Hope those that attend today think about that next time they see a protest

You're never getting on board lets be honest.

Seen him at this all over this place. Poses as if he's on side when he's as blatantly an apologist as they get.

These people deserve the club going bust. They really do.

Why are people so blind?!? I truly don’t get it.

They’re actively cheering on their own clubs demise because they have a parasocial relationship with “Khun Top”

This is a real concern for me going forward. Such a sizeable number of regime stooges. People who are far more damaging to LCFC than any Coventry, Forest or Derby fan could ever be. How on earth could I ever unite with these people again? They're enemies.

I'd fully support a Steaua Bucharest break off at this point.

Because they're thick and they've been sports washed.

do you reckon there’s a chance Aiyawatt still thinks we can get play offs? I’d say there’s a non zero chance

Play offs ..... the man is totally deluded

Not sure what it'd take for some of these KP devotees to actually realise and accept how far the Owner and KP have dragged this club down. Some of the criticism of the demo and supporters of it is near as infantile and as nonsensical as it can get. Just can't get my head around their logic. It's as if he has some sort of David Koresh hold over them.

You have got to keep this up every home game and gain momentum.

Same thing every home game just learn from whatever you can improve on from yesterday and implement it for the next one.

👍🏾👏🏾

Think I've made this point elsewhere. Just want to stress on thing: it's OUR club. We must never back down.

Keep pointing out the idiocy, hypocrisy and weirdness of the KPFC types. Deep down they know what they are. They can act how they want, but they don't get to dictate what we think about them.

My objective* is this. I want going to matches to be enjoyable, for now - but also for the future. Make it something the younger supporters look forward to like I once did. A chance to be among loud, united, sometimes edgy and committed fellow fans. Not having this diluted by nonentities who don't care one iota. KP have cultivated this. This situation can't change without their replacement by ownership who are prepared to shake things up in the stands. Otherwise we're waiting for nature to take it's toll: a 20 year project haha

(*Non-football objective. Obviously I'd also like some competent leadership, and action to break the cycle of decline on the pitch!)

A lot of interest in the club returned in 2014. Crowds increased and the brainwashing started then. I'm sure some bought season tickets because it made sense to upgrade from a membership or general sale availability would reduce but I've no doubt we had a growth of "fans" who aren't really that bothered, then the title win occurred and it was almost complete. The ownership are given God-like status.

We have always had fluctuations in attendance and interest due to performance and status on the pitch but what you are seeing here is how different the outlook is depending on your experience. A lot of us are on here because we care about the club and the sport, others just like it or take an interest in it.

Whether i agree with the protests or not is irrelevant.

Question, do you genuinely think that was a success reference numbers?

Having had decent media coverage  on RL and also on Sky etc, i was expecting a much bigger turnout.

Didn't see the actual individuals involved as they were a distance away.

A couple walking to the ground behind me said that "mostly were under 25 who probably still live at home with there parents"  :-0
