I’d love to be wrong but the fans have had barely any influence for as long as i can remember, its just more noticeable now because things are awful. 2

It wasn't particularly impressive similarly would apply to any manager winning League 1 with Leicester City this season. I remember many Saints fans at the time wanted him gone because they saw the fact that they ended up in the playoffs rather than the autos as a failure worth sacking for. Finishing behind a newly promoted Ipswich was enough for some to call for his head at the time. Though the Tractor boys are doing better than both of us now...

In other words, we are negotiating and he wants to rinse us for every penny he can. Players do it so I suppose we can’t complain.. Percy saying he hadn’t accepted YET. Means it’s a bit more that normal advanced discussions, ie the ball is in his court as opposed to the club yet to make the decision.
CosbehFox Posted 7 June Posted 7 June 1 hour ago, CruzNoir said: Did his job then? Granted we’ve got Top and Rudkin but look at our squad start of the season, look at our expenditure. Yet we blasted our way to the bottom, money is needed but it’s not the only essential ingredient for promotion. I don’t want Russel, I’ve made that abundantly clear, but the hypocrisy of fans running away with themselves sometimes is baffling (not you personally) “don’t like him so his promotion season was a nothing achievement” whilst then arguing in the pub the championship is the hardest league in world football to be promoted out of couldn’t make it up Just about managed it and then created one of the worst PL sides in existence with 1 win in 16

Im not even speaking about who he is as a person. I dont know him well, but his body of work is poor. 1

Popular Post Dan Posted 7 June Popular Post Posted 7 June The possession figures themselves aren't actually that important, it's tempo and intent. The problem is Martin is one of those who believes possession is the be all and end all, the aim of the game rather than the by-product of what's happening. I think our average possession in 2013/14 was pretty high and we were quite a direct team. We were just better than other teams. Martin sees 75% possession as success even if he doesn't win. So does Aiyawatt. 5 1

So does Aiyawatt. this is it, you'll have a lot of possession if you are better than other teams - Given Aiyawatt has no thoughts beyond "man city are successful, play like them", while they have possession they also quite frequently paste teams, because the point of possession is a means to an end, they keep the ball and keep it moving to open up defences. Martin doesn't use possession as a means to an end, it is the end to him

He's not one to speculate, he puts out things that he knows are likely to happen and he's rarely wrong because of that. That's why he isn't one to break stories reguarly because he has to wait for his sources to confirm, which they won't do until it's all but done.

LCFCJohn Posted 7 June Posted 7 June 6 hours ago, when_you're_smiling said: Apologies aiming it at you personally the , but I absolutely get what others are saying. To sum it up, anyone wanting administration is a selfish twat. Oh and this is all not to mention an instance of a firm recently who went into administration but who came out because it was bought out by another company owned by the same owners. Thankfully no jobs losses as a result but it wiped millions of debt off including the tens of thousands owed to other nearby family businesses. No worries. My view is, as I have said, I’d rather they f*** off without tanking us any further and we can have a new owner and move forward. I don’t believe any Leicester fan actually wants us to go into administration for the sake of it. Job losses, reputational damage etc. Just like 2002 still gets brought up as a stick to beat us with, albeit by Forest and Cov fans. But I do think that even I am a bit naive thinking that will happen and deep down, it is the end game for the KP era. So I can just understand the view from some that not that they want it, but if they truly believe it is inevitable, to ‘get it over with’. It’s an important distinction. Ultimately the job losses and damage to the community and local businesses etc won’t be because of or down to what a few people say on an online forum. It is on Aiyawatt, Rudkin, the useless brother (Apichet?), the mother who has no clue or how to keep her son in check and everyone else involved in the club at that level. 1

MPH Posted 7 June Posted 7 June 2 minutes ago, Silebyfox_89 said: I hope he turns us down Well, his reputation is at an all time low, and it would be some sort of achievement to get us back up and heading in the right direction again, as he will claim so many managers have tried and failed. if he gets a good offer from a high championship team, he’ll take that if he’s got a workable budget.:
trabuch Posted 7 June Posted 7 June Lord knows how much the prats in charge will end up paying this ****. And how much it will cost us to get rid of him.
fox_favourite Posted 7 June Posted 7 June We think we can rule out Freddie on X as a reliable source now . I'm hoping he's right!!!!

Foxin_Mad Posted 7 June Posted 7 June We can be sure when we are in the bottom half come December these clowns will fail to act. He will be on a 3 year deal, we will sack him in March and dither to bring in a replacement, finally relegated to League 2.
Wymsey Posted 7 June Posted 7 June (edited) So, it definitely may not be Russell Martin then? Reckon he'll want the Southampton job more, if it becomes available as would more local for him from where he was brought up. Edited 7 June by Wymsey
