Does he have the authority to drive the club forward like Pearson did? We need someone who will grab this board by the scruff of the neck and kick a few tables over. It’s the only way the board will learn. He's the most "company man" type I can imagine I can't wait to hear the excuses being rolled out when we're struggling to break down low blocks and conceding goals on the counter/or due to defenders trying to play like prime Pirlo. His go to at Rangers was that the players were struggling with the pressure and he needs time to get through to the players and help them out with that. I'd expect if he is in charge and uses a young team, he'll go down that route again. At least the excuses will be entertaining, we've not had a top notch excuse maker since Rodgers. 2

He assembled the squad, left just as the season was starting and so the replacement manager Liam Manning just tweaked things slightly to make us a little more forwards than sideways, and we finished third after being in a promotion battle until the very last day.

In theory the restructuring means we are now able to move quicker with Mcarron being fully focused on the day to day at LCFC but as of now it feels like nothing has changed. In terms of Rudkin I was more referring to previous years. 1

Very subjective, but would Brussell have got the same success or was a lot of it Manning's doing? I know it's hard to answer and is probably a bit of both.

Silebyfox_89 Posted Wednesday at 11:59 Posted Wednesday at 11:59 Could be wrong but hearing he prefers Burnley job now than Leicester, looks like we're moving on with other candidates. 1

I could get behind it if the mistakes were corrected and the players made an effort all over the pitch. Nothing is addressed by the players and staff. JV to Winks to Skipp to JV to Thomas to Mavadidi, step over and pass back. Then we get done by a basic 1-2 cross into the box. This is an obvious foreshadowing of the upcoming season. 1

Burnley would not go for Russell Martin, Scott Parker to Martin would be a huge downgrade. 1
CarolinaFox Posted Wednesday at 12:10 Posted Wednesday at 12:10 I have a hard time trusting people with "inside information" - last year we were told time and time again that Danny Rohl would be our next manager from people with connections inside the club - to find out he never interviewed. "Journalist" like Alan Nixon have everything to gain and nothing to lose by working for agents, putting managers names out there and then backtracking.

Popular Post FosseSpark Posted Wednesday at 12:33 Popular Post Posted Wednesday at 12:33 If Russell Martin becomes manager that's the final nail for me. A manager who has been proven to be a total Shithouse employed by a pair with Shit for Brains to manage a squad that's been proven to be absolute Shite. We will have basically created a Trifecta of Turd, an Event horizon of Excrement, a Pyramid of Poo, a Faculty of Faeces, a Smorgasbord of Shite, Melange of Merde, a Sequence of Stools, a Generosity of Guano. A bag. Of Wank. 5
