Leicester nick a 1-0 win, beat hull city 2-1, beat millwall 3-0 and then beat blackburn 2-0... then i woke up

What will happen 0-3 defeat tomorrow, 0-0 bore draw against hull, 0-2 defeat to millwall then another 0-2 blackburn. Most likely not score again for the rest of the season

“We probably don’t really have a squad who are designed for a relegation battle”

There’s a lack of decisiveness in that comment alone, is he 100% saying they haven’t got the balls for the fight, or is he saying these players are too good and shouldn’t be anywhere near a relegation battle?!

He’s given up that’s for sure.

Nah! It's all clever psychology from Rowett. He's banking on psyching the players up to prove him wrong.

Not sure I'd quite go that far 🤔

But Top and his boyfriend Foreskin have certainly ripped the heart and soul out of the club!!!

All season the players have underperformed but the occasional bit of quality from James, Fatawu or someone else got us some wins here and there. The squad's imbalances and the toxicity of the players/everything at the club meant that if we were ever dragged into a relegation battle, we wouldn't have the stomach or mentality for the fight itself.

And the deduction put us in a relegation battle we otherwise wouldn't have been in.

I think this is what Rowett means. 1.3 ppg before deduction / 0.75 ppg since deduction.

Well, I now have a better internet connection to watch our losses with :P (Just upgraded from FTTC to FTTH.  Now I need something worthy of downloading with it - hurry up and release FH6, dammit :P )

We needed to win games. I think he has massively f4cked up in his approach. He's treated this no differently to past teams who were all clubs expecting to be in a relegation fight. He's tried to go for an underdog approach and these guys just wont see themselves like that. Rowett didnt simply have the ability to work with these players.

something very funny about "no club has ever been relegated from this league with that many points, except this one that did". Took several reads to realise you meant finishing on exactly 53 points, even though going over is always treated as reaching.

I should have included the word 'exactly' between the words 'with' and 'that'. Apologies for any misunderstanding.

(Next time I get caught speeding, I'll tell the judge that going over 30mph is the same as reaching it.)

Don't think it matters who took charge of us this season. We simply don't play as a team. Many a time we have sprinted forward on the attack only for the move to breakdown simply due to whoever has the ball at the time laying the ball back!

They either lack a footballing brain or are loathe to pass it forward to someone in a decent position. Doesn't matter what the manager says or does they simply do their own thing!

Who was the player that stood up at the meeting, then? Can't think of one that might have the bottle to do that in front of this bunch of cowards.

It says a lot that there are very few that I can even imagine doing it....with varying degrees of credibility: James, Ricardo, Hamza, Vestergaard or Begovic?

Jordan James, 100%

Maybe or Ricardo. Special maybe the wrong word, but it would be a surprise considering everything so far this season. Closest we have got to that amount of points is the 1st 4 games? 9 points from 4? 7 from 9 in November too. But its been pants.

It was Ayew apparently. After he’d finished talking the room was completely silent for around 20 seconds, then Luke Thomas stood up and started slowly clapping. Then Mavididi did the same, followed by Winks. Then suddenly the whole room burst into mass applause, accompanied by tears and hugging. Then Ayew raised his hands once more to silence the room. “Alright then,” he said. “Let’s do this.”

Play the team (the youngsters) we will play in league 1, now and till the end no point playing players we ain't keeping or don't wanna play with hunger.

At this point I'd be protecting those youngsters likely to stay and be relied upon come August.

They might as well have a fresh start and not risk injury. Just let the dossers suffer as it's inevitable we're dropping.

We're going to need so many new players, it just seems pointless involving them in this toxic culture even further.

All this to concede after 7 minutes from an under hit back pass.

We've been diabolical on the south coast since that 3-2 against Southampton, I CAN'T WAIT.
