Totally ashamed of this vastly overpaid underachieving bunch of wasters

Surely the fact that reasonable expectations for automatic promotion from a team of Premier league standard including many internationals to plummet to this level makes it the worst team and worst season ever

Yes to the regime, absolutely, 100%. Boycotting is probably the only thing, short of rioting, that might have an impact.

But not going because the manager and/or team are crap? That's just fickle fairweather fan stuff, so leave that out. That's not why I don't want to give the club my money. The ownership is.

Having a bad team is one thing, having a bad team that was expected to do much, much better (with this payroll) another.

I've seen us play in League One before.

It was the best thing that could happen to the club. It reignited the fans' passion, the away days were great. Then there was the phenomenal Leeds home game.

Get rid of all the deadwood, start anew, with a more positive attitude, an apt manager and players that actually want to wear the blue shirt.

We are going to be fighting relegation in league 1 next season and the happy clappers with still say it's OK.

When the happy clappers rudkin and top are gone Leicester we be a decent club again

I think the points deduction was pivotal actually.  That was the point that heads dropped and spirits were broken.

It cost us far more than six points

Most other teams would use that as a reason to pull together. It’s not an excuse. We have too many players who don’t want to be here or who think they are better than us. They think they just have to turn up.

As for worse season, we ain’t seen nothing yet.

....and the person who is largely responsible for all of this is promoted.....it's beyond a joke.

Our owner is a complete and utter retard

That's putting it lightly. The interviews in January were galling

I'm all in favour of all that, and it's sorely needed (although good luck with the 'players that want to wear the blue shirt' thing. With the possible exception of local lads who grew up as fans, for all players it's just a job).

I just don't think including the team being crap in the reasons for not going makes anyone's case stronger. Stick to the owners. It's fair enough for real fans to stay away to protest the owners; real fans don't stay away because the team's rubbish!

It is now officially the worst season in the club’s 142 year history.

We got relegated with 52 points in the only other time we were relegated from the second tier.

I hope that sinks in with the club’s hierarchy.

This is far worse than the last time as we have such a high wage bill and so many players who have supposedly played at a good level. This was the side that got relegated in 08.

Next season will definitely be even worse. Zero chance we walk the league like last time in L1. Breaking records for the worse for the forseeable future.

In 1914/15, Leicester Fosse ended 2nd from bottom of England's leagues. Right now,  the club is 50th from the bottom.

In 1939/40, Leicester City gained only 4 points.

The phrase 'worst season in our history' can be interpreted in lots of different ways!

I hope this post is in jest, 4 PTS (6 in today's league) from three games is considerably better than Rowena's girls.

Definitely the worst, although it’s not really making me feel that bad.

I know there’s an incredible amount of anger and frustration from so many at the moment but to be honest it’s not really bothering me.

I’ve gradually felt less and less connection to the club and top level professional football in general. Since December ‘24 I must have been to about 40% of the home games even though I have a season ticket. I have games on TV but don’t actually pay attention to them and whilst I used to watch England at tournaments I’m not even bothered about that anymore, certainly won’t be staying up for any late night WC kick offs.

I’m at the point where even if they went out of business I don’t think I would be distraught.

4 points behind Oxford United, no slight on Oxford as they've at least shown some fight but, this says it all......... Kingpower and 'we shrug' out!!

But we knew that at the start of the season.

At least everyone bar Rudkin knew it.  Sending us into a gunfight with a butter knife was dereliction of duty.  It was obvious and I said it at the time.

To then not even try to correct it in January is unforgivable.

And now we have to go finding at least another 2 next season.

Which would have hit us had we stayed in the championship.

I mean how could you not have complete and utter contempt for Rudkin and TopGPT?

To be fair we did bring in a striker. The fact that he was somehow worse than Daka and Ayew is perhaps the perfect illustration of our recruitment over the past half decade

Yes, Rudkin and Glover managed to unearth the one striker even worse than the Patson Daka and Jordan Temu.

I don't count Carranza as I was just gobsmacked that we thought Feyenoords fourth choice was the man to take on the mantle. Again, it was obvious to anyone but Rudkin

Rudkin and Nepo Baby would be the kind of suckerz that would fall for Ali Dia

I'd rather have had him this season than Ayew

Pisses me off how so many seem to be trivialising the state we are in. Lineker saying 13 years ago we'd have taken winning the league and fa cup and then getting back to back relegations.

Why are so many happy for "little leicester" to get back in their box because we had some success.

It's little wonder there is no accountability at the club when our fanbase cant even attempt to hold people at the club accountable for their mistakes.

Some genuinely seem delighted that weve been relegated so the so called "glory fans" Will stop turning up.

Newsflash, its the so called "glory fans" that are actually trying to force change at the club and make people accountable and actually trying to stop the club going bust!

I don't think people are understanding the gravity of the financial situation.

Everyone's saying "league 1 is a chance to clear out the deadwood and start again. League 1 had some of the best away days etc". The club could very well not exist soon, nevermind finding players who want to wear the shirt, there may not be a shirt to wear.

Lineker's sadly a perfect reflection of our fans in the mainstream - happy to be pushed around. Shearer would never accept Newcastle being dragged through the mud.
