I'm genuinely stunned by this whole event. 

 

They're pushing more for 5k people than they did for the actual games that mattered during the season.

Once Kingy had been here ten years there should have been a testimonial (still for charity) with the title winners vs other team mates of his from over the years with him playing a half for each.

 

Or / and they should have read the room, postponed any announcement of this and scheduled it for the November international weekend (still no Kante and Mahrez though) IF things improve around the club. Still ten years even if it does fall into the next season.

 

It was like going into a funeral wake at a bar and shouting “ Hey there’s a disco in here on Saturday, come on everyone, come along”. Then staging the poorest excuse of a disco possible.

Now this World Class opposition has been announced, ticket sales will go through the roof. I thought they’d go for obvious class prem players from the era like Cambiasso, Maybe a Gerrard, Ozil, Lukaku etc but no these guys set themselves a bigger target and have only gone and pulled it off. What a fkin list of the absolute crème de La crème of elite ex premier league footballers. I’m particularly excited to watch a midfield built 100% on tricks and skills - The holy trinity of Gosling, Whelan and Houlihan are finally together and the football they will produce will be worth the entrance fee alone and hopefully some fabulous all stars merch 🥰

What’s really sad is that so many want this to be a humiliation and embarrassment just to satisfy their hate for Top and Rudkin, and are happy for Leicester City and some of the title winning players, to be included in that scenario. Why do you keep carping on at and abusing those who want to acknowledge this event whilst venting your venom on anything to do with City. In this instance, you should be ashamed and embarrassed. Many have already stated that they no longer care for the club so why don’t those ex fans p…. Off and follow someone else.
