Because knowing a team’s tactics and countering them with better tactics are worlds apart. Assuming he even knew anything vital in the first place. Oh they do zonal marking? Crikey, well knowing that it’s a certain win!

Southampton may have underperformed early in the season but they’ve improved under him. I do think it’s fair that he’s sacked, he’s royally cocked things up for them, and I doubt I would like him based on his inflated ego. But assuming he’s had his fingers burnt sufficiently, we could certainly do worse.
