He hasn't learned a thing from his previous sackings and failures...breathtaking arrogance. Is this how he wants to leave football, a clueless charlatan?

It is beyond a joke. But is anyone surprised? Did anyone genuinely believe he would all of a sudden become a good manager. But as i keep saying, he and all the previous managers are small issues. The club has much bigger, deep rooted issues, that go beyond any manager which is why I honestly think the club is finished.

He really is a bit thick isn't he.

He fully believes it's just poor finishing and moments in defence.

Surely when the same story repeats, not only game after game, but season after season and club after club, you'd start to think that maybe, just maybe it might be worth looking a little closer to home.

Any club that hires this cock truly deserves everything coming to them.

I keep reading this.  "Martin's tactics don't work at this level".

You don't need to qualify it.  "Martin's tactics don't work" is sufficient.

Yeh you're right. My main point being he should never have been appointed. 5 poor managerial appointments in a row is suicide/sabotage. Cant think of many clubs that have ever had 5 poor managers back to back, to the level we have.

How can you not blame him. His managerial record speaks for itself. The board have been self absorbed yes, but at the end of the day, he was and is, an appalling failure, everywhere he's been as a manager. He wasn't even a decent CB in his playing days.

I don't disagree with what you're saying but why are people surprised. This is playing out exactly as we expected. Hes a dreadful manager, that was never going to succeed here. We all knew it yet they hired him anyway. Top/Rudkin are to blame for everything and all the managers have played small parts in our downfall. Sacking Martin needs to happen but I have zero confidence that anything changes. The club is finished.

He hasn’t but also the people hiring him haven’t, he and we as fans was doomed from the start, a club that can’t win games hire a manager who can’t win games and some people seems surprised that we are still not winning games

Another failure at the club as he hasn't been announced as being sacked yet. Can the club be so far out of touch? When they get relegated to league 2 they will be forced to sell the club for less than 3 million.

If anyone is defending him after being tactically outdone by Robbie Savage……. You’re a bit thick.

A bit harsh on Savage to be honest.

Think Savage is a late bloomer to management.

The huge problem with sacking the **** is the absolute **** stains selecting to new manager and on the recent record of Rudkin and co they will get someone even worse in. Until Rudkin goes, nothing changes, this is his style, his man, his players.

Savage has done well in management so far, and started at the bottom and worked his way up.

I think he’d have us top 6 minimum.

The owners had a big opportunity to begin building bridges with our fanbase before the start of this season after back-to-back relegations by at least listening to what supporters actually wanted. I do not believe they were not aware of the concerns about appointing Martin. They either wildly misread the room, arrogantly thought they knew better or just didn't care. I suspect the latter.

He’s had a full window. He’s been backed. He’s bought in shit players that have played under him at other crap clubs. The team can’t play the way he wants, and they seem confused (or digging heels in). Now we’re stuck with utter shite like McCarthy, Cullen, O’Hora etc.

Just vouching for Alex McCarthy alone should be a sackable offence!

We will have the money to sack him.

Where from? The club has no liquid capital whatsoever and is leveraged up to the hilt. All day-to-day operating costs are funded by borrowings.

The favt that we haven't heard anything at this point in the day is pathetic. Andy King would do a better job on a free contract than this fraud. To be fair a few on here would do a better job lol.

If he isn't sacked before the next game I am done for the season.

We may or may not have the players per promotion but we wont know until we have a competent manager with more than plan A *that every club on the planet can nullify).
