Martin can't survive this result.  He was a very risky appointment who needed a strong start to win the fans over, instead we've been bad and are getting worse, and the worst bit is that a lot of fans predicted this would happen but our chief football officer and owner didn't.

I also think one of the reasons for his hiring was that he deflects attention away from Top and Rudkin, so for that reason he'll probably stay a bit longer.

He can survive ,   have look at how with week after week of shit results how long  rvn and copper survived

Call for Dyche……

This squad couldn’t play 4-4-2 or even 4-4-1-1. We’re stuffed with paceless passers and flitters and floaters.

WOW.....You actually believe what comes out of Rudkins mouth...?!?!?

You misunderstand, I believe Rudkin genuinely believes the shit he comes out with.

He is obviously full of shit but he keeps persevering with these bad decisions hence why he’s not going to do anything

Cooper had us out the relegation zone after 11 games with a newly promoted side in the Premier League. He got sacked after a 2-1 defeat to megabucks Chelsea. Martin’s got a newly double relegated side in a similar position in league one. Not really comparable, which makes it more amazing if Martin survives.

What will it actually take to sack him?

Slipping into the relegation zone?

Bottom?

Humiliating FA Cup exit at the hands of Worcester City?

Relegation?

tbf it can work, look at Cardiff, Birmingham to name a few

its on RM here, nothing else, why pick players who cant play it then? okoli, thomas, mccarthy to name a few,

hes a disabled with a god complex thinking he can change some of these players

He should never have been appointed. 5 poor managerial appointments in a row. As for the players, he has little option with Thomas or Mccarthy as we have no other options in them positions. Okoli is a dreadful player in any system and should never be anywhere near the squad. The whole thing has played out exactly as most predicted. He was never going to change his ways or tactics which bring me back to my original point. He should never have been appointed. Cooper, RVN, Marti, Rowett and Martin have all played small parts in our downfall but the lead roles have always been and continue to be Top and Rudkin. I also fully believe that Mccarron will be the fall guy for Rudkin.

His philosophy hasn’t worked in any league - except when Southampton finished 4th in a two horse race

100%. Hes utterly shite. Should never have been appointed. Everyone could see it except the muppets that are burning our club to the ground.

Pointless sacking him. These owners would replace him with someone like Liam Manning and we'd be equally as bad.

You know the sad things is... You are probably right, the fans suffer, whilst the Hierarchy get everything they deserve!

He hasn't learned a thing from his previous sackings and failures...breathtaking arrogance. Is this how he wants to leave football, a clueless charlatan?

This is football, not Plato ffs. Kind of sums up the fraud to me

Absolutely. Hes utterly shite. My point being that he, like the previous managers, are all very small problems. We can keep sacking managers (and I 100% want Martin sacked) but I have zero confidence, after 5 poor appointments, that they will actually get it right. And the club is destroyed so badly, even if we got what would look like a good appointment (for example challinor), I dont see how they can turn things around. I honestly think the club is finished.

I said after the Oxford home defeat debacle that the Peterborough game would be crunch time for RM if we weren't at least in the play offs frame by then. The fact that we're now 17th and look like dropping further if we keep up performances like today's means that despite what you say then he surely can't still be in the hot seat v Donny next weekend!!?!
