Also I apologise to anyone that I said was pathetic for wanting him gone I have seen the light he has to go lol

Nothing will top @RedSoxUK asking the board to apologise to Martin after a 3-3 pre season draw with Malaga

I’ve a feeling he will be sacked tomorrow

Don’t be daft. The next international window closes on the 21st of November. We won’t sack him until at least a month after that.

Today was probably his most experienced lineup. McCarthy, Thomas, O'Hora, Lundrstrum, Reid, Cullen and Riis.

Noticed at the end it was Alves / Brayebrook (along with Riis i think) that stayed out when their manager deserted them.

He's not able to get much of a tune out of his mates is he?

I dont like Martin but I also don't blame him. He has a philosophy and style that clearly doesn't work at this level or with this group of players and near enough every single fan could see this, yet the people running the club couldn't. We've blamed the players, we've blamed the managers but realistically, nothing changes until Top and Rudkin feck off.

How can you not blame him. His managerial record speaks for itself. The board have been self absorbed yes, but at the end of the day, he was and is, an appalling failure, everywhere he's been as a manager. He wasn't even a decent CB in his playing days.

I don't think he will be sacked. Top has completely lost interest in the club & the last thing he'll want is to pay off another manager & have the hassle of finding his replacement. The only thing he is interested in is selling the club & getting out asap.

We are in a terrible mess

Call for Dyche……

But some would see him as a dinosaur now.

I don’t think we have the money to sack him. Is he not on a three year deal? I mean seriously, who decided he was worthy of that, or indeed that a three year contract was remotely necessary to attract him? Who were we competing with for his signature? He was damaged goods as far as the world of football was concerned.

Yet more idiocy from the galaxy brains in charge.

But is that truly HIS failure, or the people that hire him?

If he get's sacked in the coming day's then we'll know there's a poor performance clause in his contract. And why wouldn't there be given that he wasn't going to find another club daft enough to appoint him. However, we know that's very unlikley so we are stuck with him.

Martin can't survive this result.  He was a very risky appointment who needed a strong start to win the fans over, instead we've been bad and are getting worse, and the worst bit is that a lot of fans predicted this would happen but our chief football officer and owner didn't.

I also think one of the reasons for his hiring was that he deflects attention away from Top and Rudkin, so for that reason he'll probably stay a bit longer.
