Never going to sack him yet unfortunately. Rudkin and the other one have just released them statements saying it’ll take time. They wouldn’t do that then sack him on the same day.

WOW.....You actually believe what comes out of Rudkins mouth...?!?!?

I´m a  generous bloke!  Martin O´Neill won 2 out of his first 14 games (although he started mid-season) and was subjected to some chants inviting him "to go away" in that time

Weirdly.....ive Never met anyone to this day who has owned up to being part of the "MON out brigade...!"

Im wondering what all those who thought Steve Cooper was the problem and wanted him and not Rudkin fired are thinking now...?!?

Two things can be true at once.

Cooper was an awful appointment and surely you can’t forgive him for his bizarre obsession with PL experience that saw us spunk a large % of our budget on Reid (wages and still here), Skipp and Ayew.

Hassenhutl would not drop down to manage us in league one; Challinor would be an upgrade, most managers in league one and two would be an upgrade on Martin.

Sadly I believe you’re right about Hassenhuttl, this is a shooting for the stars sort of approach which is sad because 3-4 years ago most would have turned their nose up at him (many did)

Maybe I’m delusional but I still see us as a big club at this level that could tempt championship level managers out of work, or for example in exceptional circumstances with the right candidate, finding our “Bielsa moment”

if someone like Hassenhuttl would step down to us, they’d want complete control, right now I’d give him the keys to the stadium if it meant taking control away from Top.

But yep, Challinor probably the most realistic and biggest upgrade we can attract right now.

The sooner people realise things aren’t going to turn and aren’t going to improve the better….

Lets stop making references to the like of MON, and previous managers prior to KP who had “tough starts”…. We’re not the same club, and the context is completely different…..

Whats wrong at this club, is there’s a rotten culture, a culture that’s continually being fed by written ideologies, only Enzo managed to the arrest it, but he’s a top class manager…. Everyone else has just pandered to it.

Martin is no different, and I can’t for the life of me understand why some people are still defending him? Let’s get one thing straight, on paper this is the best team in the league… any other manager who’s experienced at this level wins the league with this team.

The football is utterly garbage, some clown suggested there was an obvious togetherness…… the togetherness being embarrassing themselves collectively….. Robbie Savage tactically outdid him today, simple attacking phases, aggressive press and players who wanted it more…. None of that is evident in a Russel Martin team…. Slow, ponderous football no conviction to the passing, no movement off the ball we just stand still passing it side to side….. the only player who showed an ounce that innate football movement was Doyle… we’ve got the ingredients to win this league, but we need the right manager to make it happen……

We need to go back to basics, we need someone who will ignore the outside noise and focus on the group he has, a style that suits them and getting the most out of them.

You think there is a person alive that wanted Cooper out but Rudkin in?

Just recalling that day, Sheff Utd maybe?'

I didn't call for the head of MON, though I did see those who did. They looked a lot like the occupants of coach 1!

Love how united the forum is on this. Like normally when we're crap it's all a bit passoive aggressive and people post stuff like "just popping to the safehouse, I'll put the kettle on". Now everyone's just like "yeah we need to lynch him".

A few/loads hoping he was the victim in the lions pen

We've seen enough over the last few years to know that things are not going to improve.

It was no different under RVN, Rowett or Cifuentes.

I'm tired of saying it but Rudkin needs to go. You have to question how many shite appointments one man can make before he loses his job.

I’ve a feeling he will be sacked tomorrow

On the day of our lord? No chance. Rudkin will be at church praying to keep his job.
