You saw how much better Ally McCoist is with a proper commentator and away from the godawful Fletch.

Might be the first time in my life ITV are better (or at least more watchable) for their main event pundits.

 

Great to see McAnuff get a chance on the big games n all, no doubt he'll be on a few 3am'ers but he's absolutely class.

So which poor souls albeit paid for it are they dragging out at 2am our time for New Zealand v Iran or 5am when Jordan play?

 

I guess with so many teams and players to talk about and learn you will get some pundits looking a bit lost and clueless when talking about some of the lesser lights.

 

So long as none of them go "England will definitely win x game" as that usually ends badly.

I don't know how anyone could dislike Ally McCoist. His enthusiasm is infectious. Bloke could read out Terms and Conditions and get me excited about it. 

 

Seems like a very nice man too.

Ally has always come across as a decent sporting bloke despite being a Scot lol. Not afraid to say it as it is. Rather Ally than Eni Aluko... my god she was terrible. What was "30 goals in 60 appearances... according to her math that's a goal a game"
