zero urgency on the ball when level in stoppage time. Either you're not good enough to actually motivate your players to try and win a game, or you think that's a good approach. Either way, you're not cut out for the job. The 3 months of depression before he's finally binned are gonna be hell.

What the **** were those subs both in terms of timings and personnel.

Martin trying to prove how clever he is rather than doing the bleeding obvious in terms of hooking Thomas, Cullen and Reid at half time for McFarlane, Watson and the Slovenian lad

Also McCarrthy what a shower of shite he is

Too shite to have an ego and opinions on “how the game should be played”. Well done, Russell, your superior football style got us battered by a team that was in league 2 last season.

Tediously shit style of play, even if I were Russell I’d be bored shitless. How does anyone enjoy this style of football?

Committing to his style of play whilst we have players starting for us that cannot play it is just stupid

You would've hoped he would've gone away and learn something after Rangers but he is just going to be the same "plan A" and nothing else manager isn't he

We need CBs urgently and a physically stronger no. 6 - too weak in the middle of the park. He hasn’t got the players in those positions to play his system, next few weeks in the transfer market are huge so he has the right players.

Talks like he's some sort of football guru but then doesn't do the screamingly obvious.

Brentesque in every sense thinking he's way cleverer than he'll ever be

You can't play like flippin Spain with our players. Also the proper Spain strength is not the passing, its the relentless press and running for each other, which we also seem incapable of.

I think people are overreacting, this was never going to be a easy summer, 20 odd players in and out.

Still left with Mavididi, Faes, bad eggs and don't want to be here.

Souttar clear doesn't want to be here.

Thomas and Hamza lost for words.

We are looking at maybe another 3 or 4 out and 2-3 in.

Think we have to give it 10 games, before go mad.

I have two main issues with him today;

1.) Braybrooke looked so bright on the ball when he got it - and yet Martin failed to make any meaningful changes to help him get on the ball more.

2.) That he persisted with such an ineffective presence in the striker position for so long.

These were not difficult things to spot and the solutions to these weren’t difficult either.

Hes never going to have the right players unless he goes to Man City or Arsenal and has a billion to spend.

Laughable that for the last 3 years Rudkin has chased this guy around the UK like Carl Hanratty in Catch Me If You Can

We seem to be heading for a Chris Woods situation here, he’s Bosnian.

Suggest for your mental health not listening to his media work. He’s clearly comfortable lying through his teeth

I really think we'll be stuck with him for a long, long time.

I noticed when we signed him, there were a few people connected to him saying that he would have succeeded at club x,y and z if he had been given more time,

I can imagine our owners will go along with that, even when it's clear to everyone else how crap it all is.

Deeply worried that he’s just told radio Leicester that he’d like a couple in who’d “been there and done it”

no - you’ve bought in McCarthy, Chaplin and Cullen already for that - we need young, hungry players
