I thought we done well to get through the Mexico game attacked well enough in the first half and defended well in the second, hopefully we will see a more dominant performance tonight over 90 minutes in a lesser toxic enviroment, surely the ground will be 80% England as well which should help us.

2-1 England.

Can you define lots of problems? Because that sounds insane to me

Spain never looked comfortable once Belgium were actually in their third. If it wasn't for a spectacular clearance by Laporte that almost certainly prevented an equaliser at the end, then Spain would've needed extra time. De Ketelaere had the better of their defence in general with mainly his own control letting him down on more than one occasion. They couldn't contain Doku very well either. Simon was constantly wandering about, looking very rash.

Olise, Dembele and Mbappé will be wetting their lips on this display.

England will cruise it about 3-1.

Norway arent in England's league man for man.

Yes they beat Brazil, but this isnt the Brazil of old, just like Argentina arent.

I've often heard the question; how do we stop Haaland. Well in the good old days you'd employ, 'Chopper Harris' or  Norman 'Bite you'e leg' Hunter, no messing.

Wasn't the infamous 1971 Leeds v Chelsea cup final replay, recently re-refereed ? I think there was 7 red cards, by modern day standards.

Advice needed!

My  non footy-loving wife’s birthday was yesterday.  She has arranged a large family gathering for 5pm tonight East coast time. The exact time of the kick off. I am under strict instructions to not watch the game, record it, be a full participant in tonight’s  shenanigans and have a jolly good time.  The last part is of course totally out of the question.

what should I do?!

no way. I love it here. Higher wages, cheaper taxes,  I have several acres of land, a large swimming pool, big house.. none of which I’d have been able to get in England for a comparable job.. plus, he’ll be gone in a couple of years anyway.

Don’t go and watch the game live. Accept the consequences.

Apparently Ellie Goulding is playing at half time tonight?!

I don't even have the words for this insane choice to have a perfomer at half time in the quarter final AND it be someone who was last relevant in 2012, with no link to football.

15 minutes, 3 songs max. Just all about I can stand.

Still, just... why?

Oh, It's in America. The capital nation of barrel scraping for adverts and promo's.

So much about Haaland right now online.

I like the guy, but today he can f**k off 😁

4-3 England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

No side is scoring more than 1 in normal time and 4-3 is highly unlikely.

1-0 either way. Whichever side scores first shuts the shop and will frustrate and then go on to win.

Say you need to pop out to get more alcohol as you're running low. Then call 30 minutes later saying the car broke down and the recovery truck will be with you in 2-3hrs. Go out and watch the game. Make sure you cover yourself in oil/dirt and when you come back don't stop apologising and state you need a new car.
