You bunch of tuchel cowards. Licking his arse and hanging Gareth until tonight. Honestly bunch of ridiculous hypocrites. He'll win a few games in a few weeks time and you'll be spouting how amazing he is and how he's changed England.

Reactionary ***** honestly

I said it sir Gareth deserves respect… let’s face it he didn’t get us to glory but neither did we look so outclassed in a game like tonight… you can say he was negative, but he at least was competitive.. when 1 up tonight we looked like Sunday league footballers

He’s lost me tonight.

We honestly would’ve been better off not going 1-0 up.

Going one up should be a positive, but we ****ing looked shit… Argentina are obviously class that means you don’t give them all the space to operate in. Let’s face it player for player we are better… shown that until we scored. Then something shifted, scared, fear I don’t know it shocks me.. because we have made major semis and finals recently. wtf happened.. something shifted and I have never seen a game turn like that… unless it was Leicester last season of course

This is so true, and yet you could almost feel the life drain out of the players and Manager minutes after we scored and took the lead. Almost like, OH CRAPPPP we have to hang on and defend now as we FEAR losing what we have...

I started to have my doubts when Clough didn't get the job.

Once we realised we aren’t the ****ing best in the world and can just dump on anyone… the arrogance has held us back.

I felt because we got this far before, we would play better… but to be honest we were lucky against Norway, you look back at the tournament and no progress was made really.., bar second half against Croatia nothing

There’s an old argument of “If it works he’s hailed a genius” and I get that but sitting so deep so early was inviting pressure. Yes Argentina, like most teams in their situation sped up three-fold but the best way to kill time and run down the clock is to have the ball and spend time in their hslf. I counted some of our “possession” as 6 seconds, 8 seconds, then straight back at us.
Kane has that wild card to remain involved despite everything, the thing that f***ed Vardy off, introduce a new problem, fresh legs, pace, energy, something different, we dug our own grave. Invite crosses for half an hour and concede from an unchallenged header? Great strategy! Keep playing as we had, utilise fresh legs and even with the inevitable step up from Argentina we had enough to do it but went all Spursey and were our own worst enemy.

id fully agree with that; how he cannot see that his negative changes so early on affected the game and its direction needs to questioned, because theyve got all the technology etc at their fingers during the game as well,

id sack him tbh, hes never ever been the FA's first choice, thats always been Pep, now hes avaliable, go get him id say

Time to move on from Kane. Back in 1966 it was inconceivable we would win the WC without  Greaves the greatest striker of his era. After the group games and a minor injury Ramsey brought in Hurst and kept him in despite Greaves return to fitness. Making brave tactical changes does not mean you have to keep the same main striker in every WC match

It won't happen but imagine if those holding the banner were well banned

If an individual had revealed it on an undershirt / vest they surely would be under FIFA’s code so there should be no difference.

Need a new mentality instilled within the team and there’s only one man for the job

Anyone else think that if we went 1-0 down instead, we would have had a much more likely chance of winning that?

You could just see and feel the whole momentum switch as soon as we scored, and not in a good way!

If we are 1-0 down, Tuchel would have made positive and attacking subs, we would have kept the ball better and attacked and kept involved our two best players Kane and Bellingham.

How ridiculous that we can be winning a game, but the players and Manager make it feel like a bad thing.

I do, I feel we would have changed to more aggressive.. our strength. We aren’t good at 1 nil up because for some ****ing reason the players stop playing football and go into their shell. One of the reasons we beat Netherlands at euros was because we went 1 down lol it’s stupid and we need to be better at staying on the front foot

The reason I don’t trust Tuchel to change that mentality is, he did nothing from 60 onwards to change it.., nothing! He accepted it and brought defenders on.. had he made more aggressive changes, got us on the ball more and we lost I’ll say he can, but tonight he did nothing to change that game
