Hopefully no bidders ! let it go to the wall and have a good choice of prospective suitable owners at our disposal instead of a situation where we are “out of the frying pan into the fire” and end up with another Aiyawatt someone who got it just because …. etc etc

No Thanks

Investors would need something in return, and this is where our plight gets tricky?  The fundamentals are so weak for it to work.

If they pump money in and dont get a majority shareholding, their cash is just going to fall into the wasteland pit of losses, and Top / Rudkin continue to do what they do. 'Influencing' sounds great if the majority owners have a tangible say, but we have seen how unwilling the management at the club are cooperate on anything, i just dont see it working.

If an investor gets a majority, whats left for Top and co to do? They just sit their losing money with less control. I suppose it would only work if the investors had a tangible link to either KP ot Tops family.

I really only see 100% buyout working. If we were in a stronger position I would assume split ownership had some legs, as the goal would be to propel the club further. Right now, its about rescuing the club and starting again.

Yes I do see that and it would be difficult to make the case that there is unextracted value in the club given how it has been a black hole for cash under this lot’s stewardship .
I think most football investments are made on the basis of how much are you prepared to lose to have skin in the game and your name in the papers and there might be someone out there for us 🤞

there is no good outcome unless there is a sugar daddy out there

and if there was then presumably a deal would already be underway ( which it could be)

Pepsi co to buy us and walkers to return as sponsor

please

Is that for emotional benefit. Do Pepsi have the appetite and pockets to turn this around?

They’ve just had a massive merger with Carlsberg, a lot of staff turnover and changes, they won’t be buying anything like a football club for the foreseeable

From Bentleys

£8.5m of debt turned equity. Not new money so presumably done to reduce/clear more of the debt owed to KP in advance of any sale.

Yeah read the same, so this says to be an action that occurs before a sale.

I thought Top didn't care about the club and would extract as much money as possible to support KP & his horses?
