They probably will. Some people are just so grateful for the memories that can never be taken away.. the league win, the FA cup, champions league football. And i totally sympathize with them on that. In hindsight,  the league win thrust us into a. Environment no one at the club was prepared for and no one had the experience to deal with. And when you had the utterly incompetent Top into the mix. There is only one  way we were going. I don’t have the hate for Top that others have. Not his fault that his Dad died  unexpectedly and he had to try and pick up the pieces, yet at the same time, he should be nowhere near our club and neither should Rudkin.  And unfortunately KP seem to have no ability to turn us around so the quicker we are sold the better.

As for why start now, the club has been heavily criticized for the perceived 'holiday camp' atmosphere at Seagrave. Maybe they're trying to correct that by not offering free luxury accommodation to any player who wants it. Players aren't charged when they're asked to stay there by the club.

 

I'm genuinely struggling to get my head around the fact that some people have used this complete non-story as evidence of impending financial doom. It's beyond stupid.

Genuinely, when has club tried to correct any mistakes it's made in the last 5 years? Sacking managers one game after international breaks doesn't count.

There are different people in senior positions at the club now. The decision to charge £80 per night to players who want to make use of the luxury accommodation was probably made by Kevin Davies.

I think our downfall has been largely ignored and dismissed in the media, with only the likes Henry Winter raising pertinent questions. Fans often derided for being entitled while it would seem they could see what was coming and the media just didn’t want to know. 
 

IMO if our owners has come under more scrutiny from the media earlier on then I wonder if things could have been different. Maybe it worked out well for those in the press to keep shtum and watch as the Buffons carried on destroying the club while making out the fans are simply entitled because we won the league. 
 

It doesn’t help when we have some in our fan base can’t seem to critique what’s happened whatsoever. I’d imagine some in the media are delighted looking at us with such a stupid fan base filled with the brainwashed tools or the mouth breathers who can’t seem to grasp how to support the team during a game and boo after if it was shite. 
 

I couldn’t care less about what the media think or say tbqh, I do care about the future of the club. And I strongly believe we need to get better as fans, more united for this season at least. I think RM is a smarmy Cnt but I hope he’s a success the future of the club depends on it, so fck the media.

Essentially outside of Sky Sports and Match of the Day or a half-arsed highlights programme on ITV4 your best option for following the EFL is to listen to podcasts. The further down you go, the less people care and when you're not in a promotion battle barely anyone cares.

 

Currently the only coverage Leicester get is because people are laughing at how shit Russell Martin is. As soon as we sack him and appoint the next Cifuentes/Rowett/Cooper/Smith etc then we'll get next to no national coverage.

Isn't it in Neil Lal's interest to make the situation sound bleak to get a better deal? TalkSport have a habit of engaging with potential buyers making big noises early in sales processes. There was an American guy linked to Derby and somebody to do with Formula One(?) who was talking about Reading and neither ended up anywhere near those clubs.

 

Any serious bidder will be doing this professionally.

Yeah they gave constant air time to that idiot that was  trying to buy Birmingham. If they’re on talk sport they almost certainly won’t be serious bidders

I wonder how much leuven are worth as a club? Because the media don’t seem to even mention that there is also a top tier Belgium club factored into any sale here

I think it might be somewhere around €20-30m looking at other club sales

 

The Leicester women's side is potentially around the same as well, although might be a bit more because of their own training ground compared to other womens teams? (cba to look who else has one haha)

 

I expect it makes a potential sale longer to work on because of their being 3 seperate clubs potentially involved

 

But yeah the £200m price tag for Leicester City is rather disingenuous
