I just don’t understand this signing at all, I have to admit I didn’t know too much about him however after a couple of games I’m wracking my brain to think what he actually offers as a player, lightweight, and slow, he needs to improve massively for us and actually show some ability before he gets condemned as just another waste of money.

He played 127 games for Swansea in the championship over the last 3 seasons, I'm not writing him off but it's hard to imagine he is completely useless.

Two games in and he's doing well to prove this wrong lol

I will of course give him time. He's not started greatly. Could be many factors as to why.

At the minute I’ve no idea what he is and what role he’s playing on the pitch.

Its like playing with 10 men.

Watching this Muppet on Saturday was very painful.  He offers absolutely nothing.  I kept thinking who is the number 11 he is crap.  He was so anonymous I didn't realise he was playing until he was subbed off.....atrocious.

I am confused as to what position he's supposed to be. I thought he played behind the striker.

We're trying to be far too clever. We're in the third division ffs play two upfront.

Mate of mine is a Swansea fan and he told me before LC had kicked a ball that he was a total waste of a shirt number, let alone wages and whatever we spent on him.

I’m really hoping he’s wrong, but the early signs aren’t great.

I actually rate him over the years he kind of went unnoticed, his work rate was always impressive, linked up play,,was strong on the ball for his size,  he was never going to set the world on fire, but i think he was valued as a consistant player that always got stuck in.  Im not sure this style of play, where he is in the middle constantly swapping as a false 9 with bobby, is going to get best out of him, our defenders have 70% of the ball then 5% of the time its eventually out wide,  nothing is really being played through the middle as opposition normally has everone there due to slow build up.

If nothing changes i dont see us getting his best.  And eventually he will get P'd off and want away aswell or just play at 50% like all the others before him.

Much like McCarthy, the profile doesnt make a great deal of sense for Martin's desired football.

Which is odd as these are obviously the 2 signings hes probably had the biggest saying in, along with the Blackpool keeper.

ok he got yanked early at the weekend but you could show me the first 30 minutes and tell me he wasn't in the squad and I'd believe you. Same with Notts and Northampton. It's just incredible that you can be a 7 figure signing in this division and people wouldn't be sure you've ever taken the pitch.

He gets caught on the ball a lot but for some reason when he gets caught on the ball he looks like he gets cut in half! The defenders don’t foul him but Cullo somehow gets his body position in a way that he gets robbed of the ball and receives a humiliating scything down at the same time! 🤣

I’ve been very vocal about the signing of Cullen.

A completely unnecessary signing with us already having Reid, Chaplin and Alves all currently at the club.

It’s hard to feel sorry for Martin when he has likely blown a very large chunk of our measly budget on the anonymous Cullen.

It makes you think how awful Rudkin/Glover would be on FM, it’s borderline sabotage at this point.
