I deliberately made of point of trying to watch him tonight because of how anonymous he's been and he doesn't look for the ball, he kept deliberately moving in between their players with his arms out as if he did want it. Strange.

He and Burns already look like they don't want to be here and have been sent to us as some kind of collateral. Like the reality has quickly sunk in they're coming to the end of their careers and have to slum it in League One now.

What a weird signing this guy is. He literally does nothing, can’t do anything well. We all know what a number 10’s job is. He does the complete opposite and he hides so he doesn’t have to receive the ball. 
 

We’ve paid money for this cretin and given him a 3 year contract. OPA should ask Russel why he signed him and what qualities he brings to the team because it’s like playing with 10.

Feels like a very unnecessary signing. I kinda got the Burns & Chaplin ones but this one I don’t get it. 
 

He has zero impact on the game and when you’ve already got Reid stinking the place out you’re essentially playing with 9

Hopefully we’re paying him a salary that means we can move him on next summer. Same with burns.  Some seem to have forgotten that trading players is exactly that - of course the way we’ve run our club over the past decade it’s not a surprise that our fan base just assumes that you’re stuck with a player that doesn’t fit until their contract runs out.

We paid £1.5mil for him when we are in league one.

 

It's inexcusable that he is a write off this early.

not writing him off 

but for now he doesn’t look like he’s going to be a success. Still time though. Maybe needs some settling in.  No idea of his personal circumstances and whether he’s apart from his family. 
 

if we sell him end of 27/28 for 500k then he’s cost us 10k/week in addition to his wages.  It’s manageable although not great if he simply doesn’t perform across those two seasons.

I said this last night, once we made the change and brought Cullen on it was like playing with 9. Cullen should’ve filled in in CM to try and stop their attacks in the last 10.
