Way too optimistic

clubs know that we’re desperate cos the player doesn’t want to be here and play

whoever he goes to on loan will

a) not pay a loan fee equivalent to his amortisation this season. So we lose some value on our balance sheet for nothing

b) not pay wages as high as we are contracted to. So we will lose each month as we subsidise his wage whilst he plays elsewhere

apart from that it will be great ……

Amortisation not so important this year, it's more about pure cash flow. So saving his wages will absolutely be worth it.

And we will 100% either get a decent fee and some wages, or at least all his wages if no fee. Let's say his wages have dropped to £20k a week, then paying just that and no fee for a player is completely doable in any league top flight league so his options are wide open. Absolute peanuts and 0 risk for any club in the top 5 European leagues.

We couldn’t afford to sell for nothing with his wages covered as per hamza

appreciate that amortisation isn’t relevant to psr this season but I do wonder how much damage we can do to our balance sheet whilst we’re trying to sell the club

A move to Leuven makes so much sense if no-one wants him. Gets to go home for a year, we'll have to subsidise his wages so he'll be fine financially and he puts himself in the shop window. We get rid of an expensive reserve and he gets to play regularly (you would think). I don't want to patronise any Leuven fans, but surely he'd be decent in the Jupiler.

No I wouldn’t. That bloke should be nowhere near the first team.

Fair.

I agree and want him gone too. But I’d ship those three out before him if it was up to me.

Ideally they’d all go and we’d get fresh faces in at CB, just not sure how realistic that is!

I mean, just by how gormless and utterly useless he is, it’s obvious he isn’t very bright.

But it does make me wonder, do you think he’s fully aware that literally nobody across the world wants him permanently or is he just surrounded by yes men still convincing him that the next big move is just around the corner?

They really are speedrunning being us 2.0 aren't they? In for a long old season, be playing them in the 3rd tier next year lol

Please, if this is true I'm gonna start attending Church and giving a weekly apology to the Big Man for ever doubting him.
