Id play him personally.. pains me to say it but he's our best cb and better with the ball at his feet than the others are

Souttar has been fvcking useless.. we will regret not taking 6-8m for him if thats what the offer was

Thomas has been ok there until Oxford but hes not great

Kanga im excited to see but its a bit risky atm as hes unknown

Ohora apparently is a vocal leader but is from the Scottish league so cant judge his ability until seen him play.. Saturday hopefully, alongside Wout

So yea, id rather see a pr1ck who in any othet time I wouldnt want to see in Blue again, lead our line on Saturday because he is our best option

I totally agree.  Though an absolute bellend,  I would at least give him half a dozen games, if Martin sticks to Plan A, this guy is made for it, AND at this level should be a level above, IF its financially better to get rid fine, BUT if not and we have the option to play him, pains me to say it but gerrimin.  Might not be a defender but can play football, unlike Thomas, Harry, Okoli.

Those that were there will remember too many mistakes to name BUT remember the marauding run for the Vardy 2nd against Preston A, in one of those long forgotten good days for the club recently.

Insane to call for him to play. Said this before but the fanbase are as slow as the ownership sometimes learning their lessons.

Is it more insane than calling for Luke Thomas or Harry Souttar?

Frankly the squad is full up of willy pullers, the owner is a willy puller, the boardroom is full of willy pullers and we're managed by willy pullers.

Absolutely, I cannot stand the guy .. but everything about his game is better than what we are using at present. Obviously Ohora and Kanga are unknown, but I dont think we can chuck them both straight in.

Faes is positionally crap at times, passing can be loose etc but its still better than the 2 in there atm. Plus he's more aggressive too. He'll also have a point to prove to stick the V up to us fans. I for one would be more than happy for him to do that if he was to come in and sort us out until January anyway

With Nelson cropped we'll probably need him at some point provided he hasn't thrown his toys out the pram.

If there are no plans to use him just come to a mutual agreement to **** him off like with Vestergaard. It has to be cheaper than paying for him to do nothing for another year?

I don't think he'd even be able to sign for another club now as they have to have been a free agent when the window closed.

So other than professional pride, there's no incentive for hin to cancel his contract unless we paid more than he's due to earn.

TBF I thought free agents could be registered outside of the window but that only applies if the player's previous contract expired or been mutually terminated before the transfer window officially closed.

Looks like he's here until at least January.

We have Souttar, Okoli, O'Hora and Kangasniemi with Gray in the academy if things go completely pair shaped. We do not need him.

Something quite funny that he was the player most desperate to leave this summer and he finds himself still here unwanted and can't get a better gig than a League One club.

Take your pick Wout

Saw these earlier this week. Only viable league would be Greece. And even then it'd probably need to be the top end teams, you'd think.

It looks like he's ours until at least January.

As we don't know the extent of the Okoli Injury, and obviously Nelson is out, and Kevon Gray hasn't had a look in, that leaves us with:

Souttar

Kanga

O'Hora

Faes

for the centre back options.

I'd honestly put Faes in as first choice for all our scheduled 3 League Trophy games. (I'd genuinely like us to win that competition btw!)

He's better than Souttar or Thomas - the issue is, he likes to flip the bird at the fans.

Zero positional sense for a CB. Gets totally dragged so far out of position  that others get the blame for goals conceded because there’s this big gap and they can’t get there quick enough to cover it..

I'd name him in the lineup for the Fulham U21 game and then **** him off the day after. Same with Thomas and Bob.

People falling for it again with him. He would let us down again. No doubt about it. He 'better suits' a style which is complete madness and proven to fail repeatedly. The absolute worst case outcome is a slight uptick which sees him back in the fold, sees Martin's job security raised but crucially, still won't have us near promotion contention.

How many times do these players have to let us down before we can them. We've got to break the cycle of going cap in hand to these useless ****wits.

Don't want him anywhere near the team becuase he's an absloute twat more than anything else, but you'd have to fear for his career if he wasn't very competent at League One level, assuming he has any ambition of rebuilding his career, which tbh given his recent exploits is now seriously in question.

At what point do we just Vestegaard him and try to get a mutual agreement

Considering he also has book value, its a lot more difficult to do that.

Book value rules don't apply in League One.
