Not sure...Bolton at home on the first day of the season was pretty bleak. 4 0 at half time

Yeh hard to top Bolton for me. Added bonus was my school had organised a trip to the game (80 mins from Leicester so no idea why) so I had about 20 people taking the piss in the days after

Ah well Harrogate flying in the National League. As I live just down the road from their ground, it will be a short away trip next season :S

My partner has just advised me she has hidden my razor blades and tow rope.   Do the Samaritans do International calls?

Elliot has between 10 and 12 pints before a game.  He has pronounced Bristric's name about a thousand different ways.

Not surprised, he won’t shut the **** up for most of the game

Souttar, Okoli and Skipp can't be at the club by the end of the window. Cullen is a dud and its absolutely fair to assert that even after 1.5 games.

Bristric looks like he might have a bit about him. Would much rather have Braybrooke centrally rather than the weird inside right position he's finding himself in.

that cannot be accepted. Either we hit the ground running and get straight back up or we go bust

Agreed, it really is promotion or administration this season. Grim.

Another week of the other team wanting it more and winning every physical duel. Do not understand the obsession with passing football and not improving the off the ball movement.

Fire a load of them into the sun and get the kids playing since they seem to be the only ones who care.

Fixed that for you.

9 shots against

something fundamentally wrong with the game plan

Can play whatever gameplan you want and still have the same problems with these “defenders”

It really is yet some people are turning blind eyes to this. We are in huge trouble and somehow after 2 years and 86 games we are still sleepwalking towards oblivion.

Administration isn’t all bad, forces KP out and we get new owners in on the cheap

The problem is we are constantly trying to force our way and pass our way through he middle, the answer really is simple load the wings quick winger get the ball into the box quick counter attack anyone with half a brain can see it

No no no...it must be methodical and patient!

Oh of course. Just like Rodgers the bloke lives for the puff pieces in the press about ‘playing football the right way’.

If this is the right way then I’d rather we were very wrong!

Anything less than a victory is an awful result here.

The goal might have blunted some of the boos, but it was a breakaway - nothing to do with our regular pattern of play which had us two down even before Skipp was dismissed.

Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, nothing.  On repeat.

Which we won't do because can't remember a league game in years we won with 1 less man. Happy to be proven wrong but it escapes me if there's an obvious one.

Usual suspects letting the team down for two weeks running.

Nothing will change until Okoli, Souttar, Thomas and Skipp all fvck off.

And they have added Hamza into the mix.  Too many slow, short sideways and backwards passes in a busy middle so Souter can try and blast it and we get countered.  The wingers have showed what they can do with quick football.

Bradford isn’t far. Live near Harrogate and given  up season ticket after 13 years. Told my grandson yesterday who lives in Harrogate I will start going with him . Has to be better and a lot nearer

You are correct.
Issue is this is always the game plan, it will never change.
Genoa, notts county.

formation, style of play, will remain the same. This is a guaranteed consequence of the game plan Martin has. His teams always pass the ball, that is his plan.
His teams can never defend, and they always give clear chances away every game.
