Four years is a great decision. I think he’s going to be very useful for our League Two promotion push in the next few seasons.

We just need another failing, ageing, striker from the lower end of the Championship for him to compete with. Hopefully on a five year contract. Is the loan window still open?

What’s the fee?

No way is this anything more than 4-5m including promotion add-ons.

Would be no more than 2m. Likely to have been less, according to the chat down this way.

I swear people make up ridiculously high transfer fees just to generate outrage.

I agree with the comments here on inflated transfer fee ragebait, but I'm genuinely excited we have an actual, hit-the-ground-running, experienced striker. Hopefully Bristric will come good, but it will realistically take him a season to settle. Four years seems about right contract wise - 2 years until we need to upgrade then sell him on. What can I say? Up until the 45 min mark vs Plymouth I thought all was doomed, now I'm a hopeless optimist! Maybe some others here can try it? Come on! 🤪

Showed some decent touches and link up play when the ball finally got up to him. Decent attempt with a header but was otherwise isolated and had an idiot playing behind him in the first half and then an 18 year old debut

Being the number 9 in a Russell Martin team is an impossible task. Complete waste of time.

Would be the least favourable community service punishment if it was added to the rota of tasks.

1) litter picking

2) painting fences

3) working in Scope

4) playing centre forward under Brussell

Who was the 18yo debut?

Yeah, neither him nor Bristric are going to do much with the level of service they're (not) getting from the rest of the side.  Though Bristric should have put away that one where he was offside, just to show he could finish.

Thought he looked ok compared to most of the others.

Yeah me too, was in the right places, battled, and looked lively. Thankless task of making runs whilst we ignore and turn back to the centre halves
