After years of watching Daka, Reid and Ayew hit a football like they're wearing brogues, it's so refreshing to see a forward who actually looks capable of a striking it cleanly

My favourite by a country mile - took absolute ownership from minute he got the ball, knew exactly what he wanted to do, how he wanted to execute the shot and just nailed it - brilliant finish.

Looked good with an eye for goal.. 

 

Going forwards we have a lot of talent and I think he could be the one to finally finish off some of the many chances we have squandered in recent years without a decent forward.

 

Defensively it's a worry..

 

I personally would start O'Hora and Kangasniemi as CB's get them used to each other as could be a partnership for a few years.

Joseph at right back and McFarlane left back with Lundstram sitting.

 

We need a new keeper as McCarthy is a bombscare.

 

Page, Braybrooke, Alves all look a cut above in this league.

 

Happy to not see Thomas or Souttar play for us again.

I like the guy. He’s direct he’s clinical and he’s effective. Christ makes me wonder how we and why we persevered with the likes of Daka and those other donkeys. 
 This guy can’t finish the sitters and also the tricky ones too. Add to the fact our wingers and midfielders will score more goals too I’m quietly hopeful now but let’s wait and see next week.

Could be the difference maker on his own. I had very little faith they were going to sign a 15/20+ goal striker, but it looks like they may have, which potentially changes everything.

 

Relegation no longer my expectation if he's started as he means to go on. 🤞🙏🍀
