At the end of the day, how the player does for us dictates how we judge the rest. If the player contributes, is part of a successful team and endears themselves to the fanbase with the way they conduct themselves and effort etc, the rest never gets commented on.

 

I will wait and see how he does before I judge. There’s no reason he doesn’t have the ability to do well at this level if he is here for the right reasons. As a club, we are also very unlikely to outgrow him in that 4 year duration.

Very few if any signings made at League One level are going to be made with an eye on the Prem

Anyone we get who shows even a glimpse of Premier league potential will be picked off by a bigger club anyway.

I doubt that's the case for Sheff utd considering they signed Hamza on a 1 year deal.

We do have considerable pulling power even in League One. I wouldn't put it past some players to choose us over the likes of Cardiff, Preston et al.

I've read it was closer to £8mil with £4m due if we get promoted. Best £15mil we've spent in years.
