Dagenham and then Southend at home in the leauge....Got knocked out of the cup by Palace. Not many players have back to back hat tricks.....may be a quiz question?

It’s actually quite sad that I remember it on the lcfc website at the time. They felt like the darkest days.

I went to the Palace home game that was ****ing freezing and 0-0. Then we got beat 2-1 away I think.

THIS IS BALL KNOWLEDGE

Been saying that for ages. Hope we (Harborough) get LCFC at the KP and look forward to 5,000 bees down there of which l will be one. It's the only time I'll ever go there again.

Do Harborough often get 5,000 at home?

really irks me when 9,000 fans travel to Old Trafford but never turn up to home games of the lower league clubs

Has a club ever gone from winning the FA Cup to having to compete in the 1st round within 5 years?

Yes. Us.

Have we ever lost in the first round?

The last time we played in the 1st round 2008/09 we beat Stevenage 3-0 (dyer, fryatt, king)with a crowd less than 8000.

The last time  Leicester City lost in Round 1 of the FA Cup was in an away game on 12th. January 1924, when The Wednesday beat them 4-1.

That was the only season we’ve been in the 1st round since the mid 1920s. Prior to that the 1st round only had 64 teams so was the equivalent of the current 3rd round.

As a Harborian, I can't think of anything worse.

It's fun when the whole town gets a day out in Reading or whatever, but watching them compete on a level with the club most people from there still support would just be sad.

It's not that long ago that you'd see lads in the Cherry Tree or the Nags on a Friday night, then watch them puffing out their arse for Harborough firsts the next day. Seeing that same club not a million miles away from genuinely competing with City is fvcking horrific.

Guess the one saving grace would be if there were enough Harborough lads willing to make a holy show about King Power if that draw happened.

I hadn’t noticed Anstey were in the round today as well!

If we drew Harborough or Anstey, I’d be quite happy for them to win as the underdog story would be great. It’s a positive to see the counties non-league sides doing well.

Would't mind that, living in the north now!

Yeah - I tried for a fixture up north a few years back but as I wasn't a Fox Member / season ticket holder anymore they wouldn't sell me an away ticket. Is that still the case does anybody know?

I've just looked at the teams left in the first round draw, and I can honestly say there is not one team that I would confidently say we stand a cat in hell's chance of beating.

I hope we don't get Truro City because it's just up the road from me, and I would never hear the last of it.

Sad times 😢

Wigan. Winners in 2013, first round in 2015.

I think we'll get Forest Green and our fans will sing "We're Leicester City, we eat what we want".

Hopefully Martin sees the concourse menu and applies for a job there.

Imagine him working behind the counter he'd be passing the hot dogs backwards instead of forwards 🙄
