It was pretty heavy on the way to Coalville and the roads were treacherous in places. Can't understand why the roads weren't gritted?

Maybe the council were unaware of Met Office warning...morons.

A fair bit is settling up in Leeds. It's my first winter with a rear wheel drive... and possibly the last! Wish me luck.

Ah, yes, always good fun... I've got that to look forward to if we get snow. >_<

Lots of snow here overnight - and it's still going strong. Loving it. Already done my weekend groceries, now off to a relaxing weekend.

Snowing heavily in Bergamo as well, which is great as I'm waiting to board my flight back home!

It was a nightmare, nowhere had been gritted, not even the motorways. Managed to be safe enough, it took me about an hour to travel an 8 mile round trip.

Is yours an automatic too? If so, has it got a Summer/Winter setting option? Mine has and the winter setting helps a little (but not much!)

Hadn't driven my current car in the snow before today so naturally I put it into a couple of drifts on the empty roundabouts. Snow's fun.

Been driving 10 years and still couldn't resist a few teeny tiny handbrake turns into my road and F1 style "burnouts" - you know, to keep the tyres warm before I parked up for the night.
