Webbo Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 I actually quite like Johnny Vaughn , if it's a completely new team then I reckon you could fit Guy Martin in too.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Coogan would be brilliant, so long as he referred to Lexii as being the Japanese Mercedes.
Jon the Hat Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 BBC will kill it very quickly. Would like to see the guys doing another show together.
Mark_w Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Get Philip Glenister in to play Gene Hunt in place of Clarkson. Problem solved.
Webbo Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Chris Moyles could play the knob head role but is he blokey enough?
Corky Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Disappointing lack of Alan Curbishley at 16/1 on that list.
Jimothy Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Clarke Carlisle would liven it up. By jumping out in front of the Stig during a fast lap?
stevelcfc Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Probably be something like Suzi Perry, Noel Edmunds and Julia Bradbury. Or as outsiders, Claire Balding, Sue Barker and Matt Baker
MPH Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Clarke Carlisle would liven it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge6QPJfrGcY Fast forward to 1:10
RowlattsFox Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 I think Karl pilkington would fit into the show quite well. I have no interest in cars but I enjoy the show, the specials when they are travelling, creating or racing are made by the 3 of them being together, can't imagine someone else coming into that. If they do reformat the show I can see a female being part of the hosts.
lavrentis Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 heard it might be lizzie out of football league show
BlueSi13 Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Seriously, how and why are so many people having a go at the BBC for this? What choice did they honestly have? I can guarantee that they are just as gutted as the worlds biggest Top Gear fan.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Clarkson has peed me off. I love Top Gear. Seeing three grown men purposely caricaturing themselves has me in stitches at times. And now because he's gone a step too far, he's ruined my Sunday night viewing. He knew he was on a tightrope. The politically correct Beeb have been wanting to bite the hand that feeds for years and now he's played right into their hands. The prat. Knowing he was on borrowed time he should have composed himself and given them nothing with which to nail him. I hope he's satisfied.
Fox92 Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 James May's reaction to Clarkson's sacking....quality. Looks like him and Hamster may well be leaving too then. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=N6cfFnBNELs His hat
Guest MattP Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Guardian is a must read tomorrow - over/under column spread is 8.5.

Come off it mate, so sacking somebody for arriving late pissed as a newt, assaulting a colleague both physically and verbally, and promising to have said colleague sacked is political correctness? It's been amazing how much they've stood by him in the past as it is, Clarkson left them nowhere to run this time. He has only himself to blame.

The beeb are a politically correct organisation. And Clarkson has given them what they needed to get rid of him. Doing what he apparently has done has played right into their hands. I think they've been wanting a reason for ages, but haven't got rid due to the popularity of the show. Now he's given them more than enough ammo.
Guest MattP Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 Let's be honest who hasn't got angry after being let down over food? I have. If the Irish bloke did promise up a steak after work and he ended up serving cold cuts he deserves a tongue lashing at best. I've known builders renege on a cooked breakfast and end up in A&E.
Unabomber Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 he's ruined my Sunday night viewing. I hope he's satisfied. What a terrible man.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 March 2015 Posted 25 March 2015 What a terrible man. Yes he is. Sunday nights are rubbish. With a weeks work looming up, the laff I had watching Top Gear was a pleasant distraction. I'm gonna drive down to his farm in Oxon and nick some of his chickens.
