I'm filling out an application form for Reed (the recruitment firm) so I can start a job I've got through them.

One of the standard questions is for my 'bank address and postcode'

What should I put for this, as I set up my account online and haven't been to a branch?

Cheers

I usually put the address for the most local one to me or find their HQ office address and put that.

Got a fvcking speeding ticket in the post today - £100 fine and three points on my license, or attend a 'speed awareness' course.

Seems like a no-brainer. Has anyone done one?

It's a wonderful afternoon according to everyone I've spoken to. Makes everyone wonder why it's even legal to build cars that travel at over 30mph!  :D

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I was clocked by a camera doing 35.

No way would Plod have busted me for that.

Could you send a wallet to someone in an envelope if you put it through the post box, it's like 90grams and isn't very big at all, fits inside a normal envelope and is only a bit thicker than stuff you get in the mail, can't be arsed to go to the post office today.

If you haven't paid enough postage it will still reach it's destination.  If that's the case, the person receiving the package should normally have to pay any missing postage plus a surcharge.  Not sure what the surcharge is now (maybe about a quid?) but sometimes they can't be arsed with the hassle & just deliver it anyway.

I know the ADs we see on this site are to do with cookies from the things we've looked at on line, so why am I seeing an advert for Portland State University?

Is the reason I get the Montcalm hotel every time I'm on mobile on here because I logged into the wifi there?

Should I be paying tax as a 19 year old, worked for 4 weeks this summer so earned less than a grand in total and i'm a student? Had to pay almost £200 in tax surely that's wrong?

You should be able to claim it back.

Have you done an online IQ test?

Or googled " cheerleaders"?

How long do you have to wait for that normally? Pretty annoying as i'd budgeted to use the £200 next month through to September when I get my student loan lol

Speak to your employer, they should be able to tell how to reclaim your money.

If you apply for a tax code, perhaps your employers will reimburse you when they recalculate your pay

Happened to me, just phone up the tax office and they'll amend your details.

I got mine back in my next pay slip.

Why do people shop every year for new holiday clothes, what's wrong with the ones brought a year ago and only worn for 2 weeks???

Because people lose and put on weight?
