How's the transition from working day shifts to night shifts?

a lot easier than the transition back.

also depends what hours are classed as “night shifts” I guess. I’ve never found either way particularly hard but I can sleep forever an never really have trouble getting to sleep.

also loads easier in the winter cos it’s dark and cold most the day let alone the night.

What's up with the sun today?

Just appears a big orange, that isn't bright enough to stop you from not looking at it.

After reading it via BBC News, it's also likely to be due to forest fires in Portugal and Spain.

Whatever happened to the old hopper buses? There used to be loads of them 20 years ago, now you never see them.

It's between a mini bus and a normal bus.

What’s a good repellent to stop a cat coming into my garden?

Someone suggested anti freeze but I don’t want to kill it.

A dog?

I heard on the radio once that lion piss keeps cats out. Not sure where you'd get that from.

Go to the zoo and take the piss out of a lion?

On a more serious note, throwing water at a cat can discourage it from returning. Might take a few goes, though.

I saw that earlier when googling but not sure whether they are any good.

Have you used one yourself?

I haven't. When you asked the question I thought something about the smell of lemons repelled them. So I Googled cat repellent and that was the first thing that came up.
