Mainly because i guarantee he wont be coming back! watch him score goals day in day out for derby! then they will want to keep him! as he aint in Svens first team plans, he decides to sell. GONE! we do the exact same thing with players on loan. its how it works. might as well say goodbye to waggy now! remember what happened with gradel, not much different with waggy!

But if Sven doesn't fancy him no amount of bleating will change that, only Waghorn can do that by taking every chance handed to him. He made a start last night by looking better than Howard when he came on, so far though this season he hasn't taken those chances and has looked poor when given game time.

Howard is pretty much past it now at this level as much as I love him! Agree with this. Never been a massive Howard fan in terms of his ability but he has been a good guy to have at the club, but think its time for him to move on, we need to find a better version of him. People on here would hate me for saying it but I actually though Jan Kermogant had some potential, he was a lot more mobile and better in the air than howard.

And haven't. This is where Waggy is needed, and the reason we shouldn't sell him

I know he's not exactly shined this year but he's not been given the chance! Really dissapointing this is. Least there's a chance of him not going Derby though.

He's been told he has a future at the club but should go on loan to get more experience!! I'd say he's being treated very fairly indeed!
cc_star Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 What happens when Vassell inevitably picks up another niggle or needs subbing in a game (like he does 99% of the time) Unless Vassell is purely Yakubu's back-up this is purely a move which is good for Waghorn as an individual but a bad move for our squad
Christoph Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Agreed with CC_star, i imagine Vassell may just play as Yakubu's back up with Howard being 3rd striker which he probably wouldnt mind, rather than waghorn who would mind being the 3rd striker. Would still rather we gave him a go though, but ah well. A few goals on another team should do some good just hope it doesnt go all DJ Campbell on us
