From one of the West Ham forums, I thought it was quite amusing.

"They still haven't won away from home. They won at a neutral venue yesterday"

Poor buggers, worst move in the history of football.

That stadium gives them no home advantage at all

They've had an absolute nightmare. They've moved out of their historic old football ground and into a generic athletics track.

Still, they're getting it scandalously cheap, so I have less than zero sympathy.

The porn peddling  owners will trouser the profit from the sale of Upton Park and the 50k fans have to suffer that abomination - it's the inevitable consequence of clubs falling into the clutches of these sort of chancers

Exactly. Sullivan, Gold and Brady are doing very well out of it all. As for the fans - well, the soul of the club is gone.

'Ard luck!

I don't know where or when Tottenham suddenly got this idea that they're part of the big clique anyway.

Nothing more than over-performing mid-tablers to be honest.

As a club, I put them at about the same level as the Villa.

The weird thing is Merson praised us all throughout the 14/15 season but started to whinge about us last season, maybe he's just a hipster?

We were never going to win anything during 14/15 and therefore no threat to his prejudice. It all changed as the 15/16 season started to unravel.

You're seriously wrong there. Couldn't see the villa filling a 90k stadium, even with tickets being free !  Spurs have a much bigger following (domestic and global) than Aston villa

Did I say every week?? Was talking about the European fixtures.

course they wouldn't although will be interesting to see how many season tickets they do sell at Wembley next season.

It Villa had had the last few seasons Spurs have and they got in the champions league and played their home games in a 90,000 seater iconic national stadium that was on their doorstep then they'd comfortably fill it as well.

Mostly the same way Spurs filled it... with football tourists and glory supporters wanting to see a Champions League game.

Spurs are ****ing bang average as a club. If they're not in London, they're basically just Newcastle or Sunderland or something.

They're where they are because of the Bale money and Pochettino, that's all.

Sometimes people forget we won the league by 10 points.

Spurs are an average club.  If they were located in Cambria they'd just be seen as another Sunderland. They're just enjoying a good spell in their history at the moment.

Cant claim to be a massive club when all they have won 2 League Cups in 26 years. We've won more in that time period.

That's hilarious. If you're auntie had a dick she'd be your uncle.

Like it or not, they play some of the most entertaining football of all teams in the league. Don't let the utterly bitter fans stop you enjoying some truly great football. and stop worrying about who is the biggest club.

Spurs aren't sh*t but they aren't elite either like they think they are... it has been said that we have won more than them in the last 25 years, that is a long time... a quarter of a century

I fvcking hate spuds but this is just so wrong. They are part of the top 6/7

Villa have not even been top ten for years.

We are going to become all billy big bollox with the above attitude.

I don't get caught up on what they think. I base my opinion on teams who I think play good football.
