Was surprised that this latest episode of 'Pluribus' was the final one of this first season. For some reason, I thought there was going to be ten episodes.

Really enjoyed it though. Sounds like it might be awhile before we get the second season.

It was a decent season but boy did the plot move slowly. If you look at where we are compared to ep1 then not much has happened really.

I think it's down to production costs. The risk of a Season One failing is high. You can look at other series, same things happened – best example for this is Invasion, which I brought up a few weeks ago.

Remember that they had to vacate entire parts of Albuquerque for certain shots. That's not cheap and wasn't CGI, as far as I can tell.

We should see more action and a faster pace starting in Season Two, now that Pluribus has become so popular. I'd also say that's why it'll be taking two years for the next season, as they'll implement more crazy elements of the story.

The beginning of episode 9 shows the threat to the 12 survivors.

And lastly, Vince Gilligan isn't known for a love for fast-paced storytelling. Remember the fly episode in Breaking Bad?

They were commissioned for 2 seasons right off the bat, so it's mad that have they only just started writing the second season.

US TV shows used to be 23+ episodes per season and were released almost every year, with them writing and shooting at the same time.

Apparently it's down to the TV companies not wanting to pay the writers to work on the show constantly so they have to work on other shows inbetween to pay the bills, which drags the process out.

I think you can still cancel a show even if you have two seasons commissioned.

Seems to me Apple wasn't that convinced by the concept initially.

Yes, it's mad to think we used to get 20+ episodes a season, from September to May, with many shows ending on a cliffhanger. How spoilt we've been. Streaming's changed that forever.

Watched Slow Horses over the past month or so, enjoyed it. I do think it does the black comedy/drama aspects quite a lot better than the spy/action stuff though. I've no background in espionage myself (or have I???) but some of the fight and shootout scenes in particular are pretty ropey and at this point I reckon a good 80% of chase sequences have been resolved by Jackson Lamb anticipating exactly where the target is going to run to and then teleporting there. Nitpicking though and hopefully the next series is none the worse for the change in showrunner.

Which one does the big bad wolf show up?

I can't remember, haven't watched the series in ages. It's a brilliant Channel 4 production, though. Featuring a stellar cast.

Stranger Things season five seems to be getting a "Game of Thrones  style " backlash from fans online.

Whether they rescue it with the finale! Who knows! Obviously a show like this the ending isn't going to please everyone.

It is so hard to wrap up a show that is so popular and beloved.

You just want a show to be remembered for how good it was and not how it deteriated in quality and leaves fans divided by its finale.

A documentary about vagabonds, vagrants and philanderers based in the North West of England. Truly some of the most sinister and warped minds in Britain in a goldfish bowl for all to see. Give it a watch, Coronation St it's called

This programme is so bad I can only compare it to watching Leicester.

I've actually found this series to be decent overall, but the coming out bit was pretty toe curling in how it was done. Obviously any plot containing such themes will always irritate the review bombing weirdos, but the concluding episode was pretty poor and is stuck in people's minds.

Thought Stranger Things series 5 was decent enough. Always hard to close out these things. I think because it’s light hearted and the main protagonists are kids, you don’t scrutinise it for plot flaws and things being overly ridiculous as you would other fantasy/dystopian series.

I've been rewatching season one of 'Fallout', because when I started season two, I realized I hadn't really remembered it all that well.

Brilliant show.

I've just started watching S2. Just finished ep 2.

I admit I've had to research some of the plot and storyline to fully get up to speed as it's quite convoluted in that it goes back and forth in time and between the various factions/characters involved.

Really enjoying it though. And the soundtrack is excellent.
