Binged the first series of Dr Foster yesterday, absolutely loved it.

We binged it this weekend too. Found the first 3 episodes slow and boring (wife enjoyed it) last 2 were decent though. A few holes and clearly changed the feel in the last episode as though they'd heard they could have a second season.

also watched the first 3 episodes of Strike which was pleasant in a casual way.

The dinner scene was class.

Absolutely loved it too, but not so much the second series. I'm interested in what you think after the second, having watched them back to back rather than waiting a year...

superb start to new Louis Theroux

”she’s not shooting up in there is she”
“nah she won’t be shooting up yet”

*goes to check*

”oh yeh she’s shooting up in there”

I do like me some Louis. Never realised he had a new one out.

He'll never top Weird Weekends though. They were frikking hilarious. Especially the wrestling one.

Planning to commit to "The Man In The High Castle". Anyone here watched it? Heard decent things.

I remember @Webbo talking about it couple of times in this thread? You can also use the search function in this thread to see if it has been mentioned previously as well.

I'm really liking the new Star Trek. Much better than the rubbish that was Enterprise. Though one criticism is the Klingons do look a bit all the same.

I quite like The Orville too. Very TNG like with its episodic format with a "message" in the writing. Some of the humour falls a bit flat but it's a good entertaining watch. Plus I like Adrianne Palicki (apart from the huge mole between her eyes). McFarlane will get plenty of big guest stars no doubt. Charlize Theron was in the last one.

Personally I thought it was OK, but nothing I would classify as a must watch. Maybe it's a sign of getting old, but I found a lot of the characters deeply irritating and prone to making some bizarre decisions.

If you're looking for things on Prime to watch, I found 'Into the Badlands' to be far more entertaining. Totally brainless and little more than an excuse for some martial arts type action, but still quite enjoyable. Never did I think Nick Frost would ever be cast as a martial arts master.

Looking forward to watching episode 4 later tonight.

I like the way they're taking this.

The recap show shown after each episode is ok in parts too.  The way they do Lt. Saru was an interesting watch last week.

Episode 4 is absolutely brilliant.  Just watched it.  The series is doing a great job of surpassing my expectations so far.

There's loads of conflict going on in terms of what's right and wrong.  It feels a little like the Voyager two parter Equinox in some ways and is taking some of the other ideas of other series and giving it a modern makeover.  It's great.  That scene on the derelict Shenzou was fantastic.

Great idea. It's okay but a lot of holes in the plot. My wife enjoyed the first series, I sorta survived it. Have got the second but haven't built up the courage to watch it yet.

Finished Narcos. Great stuff. Can't wait for the next season. Hope Pena is still about.

Does it have subtitles all the way through? I tried to start first series a few months ago but couldn't get past the first episode due to constant subtitles.
