Watched the first episode of the second series of Ted Lasso.

Smiled through it as I did the entire first series.

It's just bloody lovely.

We he had a free 12 months of Apple after upgrading our daughters iPhone but for some reason they've binned us after 3 months. We really enjoyed Ted Lasso series one. Also found Brigadoon really good but can't watch that anymore.

Watched the final episode of season 2 today, and gotta admit that I'm disappointed

Gonna try not to spoil anything - but why turn that particular character into such a piece of sh$t ??

Been mentioned by a few posters but Itvs manhunt with martin clunes is exceptional  drama.

Both series are based on true events and if you were around in that era you will have heard of them both.

Tend to agree but I guess it's to build a rivalry

Season 2 isn't as good as the first but still quite enjoyable.

Starting to find talk shows depressingly awful. Graham Norton and that Paul O'Grady thing. "Mel, you have an amusing story about a ball point pen?". Celeb tells boring story and everyone pretends it's hilarious.

The One Show " Sting, why did you name your album The Bridge, are you looking forward to going on tour, how did you feel during covid?" So inane.

Watched the first episode of The Larkins with Bradley Walsh. Fairly enjoyable, formulaic, twee Sunday night fare. Arse-achingly right-on, but then most TV is these days.

Also watched a bit of Outsiders on Dave. Might as well have called it Taskmaster In The Woods, because that's essentially what it is. It was OK. I'll probably watch a bit more and see how it develops.

Didn’t feel like it was being built to.  Kinda came out of nowhere.

Not seen Squid Game but already had enough of it.

10 year old is pestering me to be able to watch it as apparently everyone in year 6 has watched it and they play it at break time!

Did anyone see Only Connect on BBC2 tonight? What were those strange marks on Victoria Coren Mitchell's right cheek?

Btw, Simon Callow was superb as the poet Alexander Pope on the BBC4 programme last night.

Sex Education started off well but it’s shite now.

Totally agree

they announced a 4th season, and I don’t think I could care any less about it.

A flower tattoo.

"She warned viewers by sending out an intriguing tweet ahead of the show, informing fans that she would be looking a little different.

Writing on the social media site, she wrote: ‘On tonight’s Only Connect: no, it isn’t a bruise. It’s a LOVELY GLITTERY FLOWER TATTOO.’"

Apparently she said it's not related to Taskmaster, but I bet it is.

Started Seinfeld on Netflix. Watched a few when I was younger and remember finding them amusing, and since then Curb is up there as my favourite ever comedy show so started them when they dropped on Netflix about 10 days ago. Season 1 and 2 are absolutely abysmal, just totally unfunny and just couldn't understand how it is lauded like it is and how Larry David could have been so poor and then went on to make Curb. So I looked online and it's pretty roundly understood and said by most that season 1 and 2 are indeed very poor and the quality really picks up so I've persisted through season 3 and can attest that yes, it does get much better and some of the episodes are really very funny and apparently it only geta better up to season 8 when David left and it goes downhill a bit so really looking forward to seeing how it progresses through season 4.

Im up to episode 4 series 1 and I'm like you don't know what the fuss was about. I might skip to series 3 then.
