A little early I suppose but I've just found out i'm going to this thanks to my great brother :)

Same team as against derby for me . Think i'd still bench Nugent for one more game with the tough fixtures coming after this game .

Agree, although I'd bring Schlupp back in for Konch.

Vardy+Waghorn helped run Derby ragged until the whole team dropped its tempo, backed off & allowed them back into it.

Same team for me although if Nugent is back to 100%, I think I'd bring him in. Other than that, a game we should win but I still think it will be tough.

Agree with not starting Nuge. bring him on if we're struggling. would like to see futacs given a start. Also its probably fairly doubtful the Knocky will feature?

We owe these for that horrible loss last season, where Drinkwater and Vaz Te tore us apart.

Looking forward to a bit of revenge!

We should never take anyone for granted, but lets face it, if we can't beat these at home, we don't deserve to finish in the top 2.

It's a game we should be winning, and I think we will by 3-4 clear goals.

The match last season was one of the most depressing I'll ever attend, everything about the game was dire and pitiful.

But with us signing the best player on the pitch and us in fine home form (everything we weren't in the January fixture) I expect another strong performance.

The last two home games against these were worlds apart, last season was one of the least enjoyable matches I've ever been to, and the season before one of the most enjoyable.

This has to be a home win, cant settle for anything less. Fully expect Barnsley to come and park the bus and offer nothing attack wise. If we score relatively early then i could see us winning 2 or 3 nil against these. Could be a long old frustrating 90 minutes though if we struggle to break them down

We'll tear these fvckers a new arse hole.

We've been scoring goals for fun at home lately. We'll win 5-1. (Waghorn x2, King, Nugent x2) Craig bloody Davies will score for them.

Heard it here first.

Barnsley are on the longest current winless streak in the Ch'ship at 9 matches, a massive 6 of which were defeats.

During this run they've lost 4-1 to both Forest at home and, in their previous match, Watford away, lost only 2-1 at home to Cardiff (both Cardiff goals coming from corners), and they managed to hold Palace to a 1-1 draw, again at home.

I have a very bad feeling about this one.

I think this is what makes this team so much better than last years. This kind of stat (although it's not much of one admittedly) would have me shitting myself but regardless of any form, any league game in this league I fully expect us to win at home and we've delivered in 80% of them.

Barnsley could've won their last five, I'd be confident of a win. This team is special.

If you want a more positive stat, along these lines for the Millwall game. Millwall are currently on a 13 game unbeaten league run. Palace managed 14 before they were beaten. If Millwall remain unbeaten this weekend they will reach the magic 14 just in time for us. Maybe for once we can be on the right side of stopping a record?

Back to the Barnsley game. I just can't see us not winning this year. The odds of them doing us at home two years in a row must be pretty slim? As I said above, I think we'll beat them by a few clear goals, but as long as we win I'll be happy.

The real acid test is Millwall away if we get a win their than I am confident for our away form at sides that have the hoodoo over us such as F****t.

off topic....but I've been in the USA just come back and have just realised we have the best goal difference in the league! When was the last time that happened!!!!

Also, this has to be a home win....if nuge is playing I have no fear :)

Cold December afternoon against Barnsley, not a game I look forward to.

Always a pretty boring game against the Tykes, so wouldn't be surprised if it's one of those games where you would rather watch paint dry.

Are these guys really any better than Ipswich? 4-0.

If your prediction is anything to go by they are only 2 thirds as bad as Ipswich, so yes they are better by a third.
