Father Ted Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Time to put the cup exit behind us and look towards our next league game. I'd go with: Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Keane Schlupp Knockaert Drinkwater James Marshall Nugent Wood Subs: Logan, Moore, St.Ledger, Dyer, King, Vardy, Waghorn. Should Marshall be unfit then bring in Dyer and should Wood be unfit then bring in Vardy. Hopefully Schlupp will be recalled from his 'trial' and go straight in for Konchesky. A much more balanced midfield. Morgan's recent form with Keane next to him has been worrying and can't help but think that it's only a matter of time before St.Ledger is fully fit and back into the starting 11 next to Morgan once again. Keane is a promising young lad but his defending has been worrying at times and it cost us at Peterborough... an experienced centre back pairing is the key for me but I wouldn't risk SSL until fully fit.
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Will wood be fit? I dont care if hes on crutches, he will be walking out onto that pitch and scoring a hattrick.

Lukey Boi Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Will wood be fit? said he would be back for the next league game
Jagdinho Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Pearson probably won't leave out konchesky because he's experienced. I do think he needs to be dropped but with the lineup you suggested the average age is about 23/24?
Royston. Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Must win game if there ever was one Thats it, I'm sticking a tenner on us to get beat
Danno Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Pearson probably won't leave out konchesky because he's experienced. I do think he needs to be dropped but with the lineup you suggested the average age is about 23/24? Who for?
LCFC FOX Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Kasper De Laet Morgan Keane Koncheskey Marshall Drinkwater James Knockaert Nugent Wood subs - Logan, Moore, Schlupp, King, Dyer, Waghorn, Futacs
theessexfox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Need to get a convincing win under our belts... Kaper De Laet Moore Morgan Schlupp Marshall Drinkwater James Knockaert Nugent Wood
Fox92 Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Schmeichel De Laet -- Morgan -- Keane -- Konchesky (No other option apart from Schlupp. See my point of getting in a new left back). Knockaert -- Drinkwater -- James -- Marshall Nugent -- Wood Subs: Moore, Schlupp, Wellens, King, Dyer, Vardy, Futacs
Brooksy Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Comfortable 3-0 win and back to 2nd after Hull cock up on Saturday.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Comfortable 3-0 win and back to 2nd after Hull cock up on Saturday. Hull are playing on the Tuesday too. Lets hope they slip up in at least one of these games!
SMX11 Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 I'd love to see Yann score the first goal, give it the 'big un' and then see us comeback and win by two goals.
cc_star Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 What I think Nige will do: Schmeichel RDL - Morgan - Keane - Konchesky Knockaert - King - Drinkwater - Marshall Wood (if fit) - Nugent What I'd do after training like buggery over the next 10 days Schmeichel (desperately need a new keeper IMO, this one only has a name but very few goalkeeping skills) RDL - Keane - Morgan - SchluppMarshall - Drinkwater - KingKnockaert - Wood (if fit) - Nugent
TheUltimateWinner Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Schmeichel RDL Keane Morgan Konchesky Marshall James Drinkwater Knockaert Wood Nugent
Tielemans63 Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 I'd love to see Yann score the first goal, give it the 'big un' and then see us comeback and win by two goals. Watch him score a Panenka next Tues. When he does, I tell you know, I'm invading the pitch and kicking him in the plums.
peterborofox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 Hope Wood is back otherwise 4-2-3-1 with Knockaert given a free role
Happy Fox Posted 13 February 2013 Posted 13 February 2013 4-2-3-1 if Wood is out I cannot bear the thought or reality of Vardy/Waghorn starting I am getting quite irritated with how badly they play I accept they are players with huge limitations but f**k me we need better.
