I am Rod Hull Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Sooooo much more energy than we`ve been showing in recent weeks.
Aus Fox Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Not a bad half, Schluup and Moore are struggling, had the best chances king and Schluup should have both scored. There for the taking though
whoareyaaa Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 10x better today, playing very well I think only negatives we should be 2-0 up to clear cut chances and we've not taken them again, plus some lazy long and diagonal balls which clearly don't work with 1 striker up top. other than that superb look much more composed on the ball think we can win this!
Webbo Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Not a bad half, I reckon we dominated possession , should probably be at least a goal up.
49er Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 I think that Pearson has to be more attack minded in the second half. A win here and we will be back in the play offs. Wood on on for Marshall, with Schlupp playing left mid,
Babylon Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Passing the ball a bit more rather than hoofing it which is good. Closing down better as well.
Guest shearfox Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Best we have played since January so far, we look up for this, finishing still quite poor however. Lets hope the finishing is better in the second half. More attacking play I think Brighton are there for the taking.
dmayne7 Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 I think Wood would have tucked it away Wood wouldn't have had the pace or movement to get there so irrelevant
jimmer Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 good first half.. more of the same second half and nic a goal at the death
Babylon Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Not a bad half, Schluup and Moore are struggling, had the best chances king and Schluup should have both scored. There for the taking though Two of our best chances were created by Schlupp.
KFS Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Played well, people need to sing up if they want to win this.
Foxhateram Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 great play, just like before this slump. why havent we played like this the last few months? i like schlupp up top, he is really showing some spark. p.s. wood would never have made that through ball.
tylesta Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 20 more blanks from Leicester... Brighton to score the winner with their only shot on goal against the run of play in the 80th minute alraedy had a shot at goal
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Is quality the problem? Two good chances this half... King and Schlupp.. Both should have scored? It's such fine margins at this level. That said, we are still very much in this game.
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 gives the ball away to much. He's frustrated, put his arms in the air in frustration twice. Has to go backwards because there is no movement, or at least none out wide. Marshall seems to be wandering.
MPH Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Schlupp seems like the exact player we have been missing for the last 8 games. I HOPE nigel sees sense and if he replaces a striker he keeps Jeff on and takes off Nugent. Nugent hasnt done anything wrong but if its still 0-0 with 20 to go i think i bit more height and muscle up front wouldnt go amiss...
Strokes Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Passing the ball a bit more rather than hoofing it which is good. Closing down better as well. I think big chris' absent has alot to do with that
dmayne7 Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Not a bad half, Schluup and Moore are struggling, had the best chances king and Schluup should have both scored. There for the taking though Agree that Schlupp should have scored but not so sure about King. He did really well to hit the ball out of his feet like that and was unlucky
TrentFox Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Loads of positives. Passing crisper and more purposeful. Schlupp growing into the game. Looking organised and a have a good shape away from home. Only downside is Marshall's quality on the ball is shocking today.
49er Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 I think he has scored a few more goals at this level than Schlupp
The Guvnor Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Understandably nervy start by both teams, have to say we have had the better chances, Jeff calm down son, should have scored!
