Here's What I Heard

Poyet is coming, will be confirmed 10am tomorrow.

Source some man on Lcfc's facebook.

I wouldn't read too much into it, there's only a handful of wind-up merchants on Facebook trying to make themselves look important.

I'm going to cut this one out and frame it if it turns out to be true. :D  :D

I have heard from an impecable source that Kenny Jacket has been approached and is keen to take over. The only stumbling block at the moment is over compensation to Millwall. You heard it here first .

Why would we need to pay Millwall any compensation?

Well BCFC Andrew is a very realiable source, last time he proved us all wrong and named Pearson the new manager weeks before it was annouced. Can't imagine why he would come back now with a false rumour somethings happening I don't like it I want consistantacy too along with most of us on here but I can only assume Pearson lost the dressing a while back now. I would listen to The year of the foxs source too

Erm, no one would, he was making a point/attempt at humour..

Erm, ok... without trawling back through the thread to understand, What point was he trying to make? / where was the humour?

Personally I think anyone that takes any interest in the Leicester job is mad its like mission impossible

It's getting to be a poisoned chalice position like Liverpool's really. Overinflated ego fans who think they've a divine right to success despite no one thinking they're actually any good apart from themselves!

This. If Nige gets the boot for Poyet we're going round in circles again. Player turnover, expectations too high etc etc

If Kasper despises Pearson he's got an incredibly bizarre way of showing it. Must be a Danish thing.

yeah its like he imagines the ball is Pearsons head every time he takes a goal kick.

As I say on the 'Pearson sacked' thread, I too got this from a mate at the London Evening Standard.  The Thais had made the decision to get rid of Nige at the weekend and apparently had a couple of meetings with Jackett at the beginning of the week, with a view to lining him up for the City job.  That was until the news of Poyet 'falling out' with Brighton emerged ......... !

Oh, forgot to say, apparently the owners approached Jackett, AFTER Neil Lennon had turned them down - he was first choice.  Lennon must have made his decision after seeing us miss out on the play-off final - he was at the Watford game wasn't he?

Makes sense.  He wouldn't have wanted to leave Celtic and Champions League football, unless City were in the Premiership !

Right, I've avoided this place completely after Sunday's devastating result. I was absolutely gutted and still am. It'll take me ages to get over it I know. Anyway, I'd been told this via a prominent club member before the Forest game even but kept quiet so as not to disrupt the end of season run in. (not that it would disrupt much- it's not that drastic at all) I'm not claiming to be ITK either I just thought I'd give my two pennies worth. Oh and I'm not anti Pearson either. All this is still, 'alleged' by the way, just passing stuff on!

Kasper is off to Swansea- the Danish connection with Laudrup who's good mates with Peter. Kasper allegedly despises Pearson.

NP and Wood fell out due to NP wanting Wood to stay at Leicester whilst injured in the hope of aiding his recovery, whilst Wood insisted there was nothing he could do and was therefore off to Tenerife regardless of what Pearson wanted.

OK, perhaps my opening paragraph sensationalises what's written below, but I know how many soon regard a rumour as bullshit once it involves a Pearson 'fallout' For the record I love the bloke and hope he's here next season.

We saw Morgan and Moore at the services after Watford on Sunday. Both were livid and wouldn't acknowledge us without us asking direct questions. One of our lot asked why Knocky was allowed to take the penalty to which Wes replied, 'I dunno you'll have to tweet him' (I took that to be a bit of a snipe at Twitter footballers) Another lads asked (unfairly IMO) why 'why did you as captain allow Knocky to take the penalty?' to which Wes replied, '**** off' lol. Fair play to Wes I thought, we were all gutted, our mate just felt like venting his anger at anyone to do with the club I think.

On Monday night Poyet was 33/1 to be our next manager, one of our directors at work (used to play for City and has contacts in and around football) told us to stick money on him being our next manager with Pearson due to be sacked on Tuesday (again I really hope this isn't true) yesterday morning Poyet's odds were at 6/1.

edit I realise NP hasn't been sacked on Tuesday (thank God) but it still could prove to be true

They all travelled on the coach so why were those two on their own at the services?

My missus works for sky sports and she told me on Monday that they had an internal memo saying that Lennon was replacing Pearson. I told her thats bollocks. Until I read this thread, I thought nothing more of it. And now in light of the rumours there may be some truth in it???

When a coach picks up players Im sure they don't all go to the KP to be picked up and dropped back off there many will drive to an appropriate place to be picked up depending on where they live sometimes even drive directly to the away ground. Footballers are real people who use services stations too
