Loggy88 Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 Don't think we will sell until next summer at the earliest. Obviously I want him to stay for as long as possible but every player has their price and with the restrictions it would be considered. But 1.5m is a fooking insult! Stadt Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 Moore has got a good leap and he's strong, so I think he compensates for not being really tall. He's about as tall as Wes if not a little bit shorter anyway, I'd guess he's probably bang on 6 ft.
hackneyfox Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 Compare him to Michael Keane who is going to be blooded into the England and Man utd sides if he keeps it up who we couldn't get for £4mil and I reckon Liam is no worse the Keano Are you claiming we offered 4m for Keane? Mike Oxlong Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 Versatile - CB, RB. could develop into a good DM. Good all round athlete. More of a keeper than Conrad. Yes, thinking about it, I'd even put him in goal before Conrad.
Charl91 Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 I wouldn't sell him for less than 5m. Not because I think he's worth 5m, but we'd also have to consider getting a replacement (and making a profit on it too). Plus I like Moore, so I added an arbitrary 1m on. dmayne7 Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 Every source says that he's 6,1 so not exactly small. Plus he is strong, quick and pretty mobile so physically speaking he has all the attributes to be a top player.
LCCFox96 Posted 18 October 2013 Share Posted 18 October 2013 Are you claiming we offered 4m for Keane? No, I'm saying we couldn't get him even IF we offered that much. United wouldn't sell one of their top young prospects at CB for that cheap and we shouldn't be pushed into a sale either. Just drawing a comparison in their ability so should have a similar price tag.Moore is pretty big for CB + he is only 20 so should fill out more too (not GTF style I hope). Besides his apparent lack of height never seems to show - rarely gets muscled off the ball.

Tielemans63 Posted 19 October 2013 Share Posted 19 October 2013 If Zaha is worth £15 million then realistically Liam must be with around £20 million I'd say.
Col city fan Posted 19 October 2013 Share Posted 19 October 2013 Selling Moore would be daft. IMO he will simply get better and better. He'll be the centre-back of the future at the club if he stays.
ADK Posted 19 October 2013 Share Posted 19 October 2013 I don't get why people would accept a bid for one of our emerging talents at January whilst we are in contention for promotion. We don't need the money that badly and the player is under contract for the next 2 seasons. It would have to be a massive bid that would allow us to improve the rest of the squad. HitchinFox Posted 19 October 2013 Share Posted 19 October 2013 I will remember this post come the end of the season. Want to make a bet of £50, that we will be in the Premiership, and Newcastle in the Championship next season? Ha ha! Note to self - must make sure to use to underline irony/sarcasm of posts.
