Jace Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Excuse me if mentioned but what if a father has a ticket, or season ticket, with his child whom is ill on match day and is forced to go alone. Would this person have to be moved by a steward? Not really a dig, just curious. Stupid rule if so. It's a good question I wondered this before because a similar situation happened to me at Wembley for an England game but they didn't check.

It'll take more than a petition. Sadly I don't see anything more happening - the club can thank Nigel Pearson and the squad for saving them. If we had a team that didn't deserve our support then they'd be in trouble because it's bordering on utterly ridiculous now.

I know for a fact the kop had to be at that end for a number of reasons, not just because it can't be near the away fans which is what you were making out. That's all I've been saying, yet you're seemingly ignoring it.

The police directly influenced the decision to put the Family Stand next to the away fans. Who in their right mind is gonna attack a bunch of young kids and families? How many times have L1 been attacked?. 90% of your 'arguments' on this topic have been absolutely full of cliche nonsense that I'd expect from one of these prats at the club.

Had we been hobbling around midtable now still having to watch players like Danns and Beckford bundling around the pitch whilst being forced to pay £36 to sit where we are told you would probably be looking at 16-17k a game. They must be confident of keeping him a fair while to treat their 'customers' like this.

I didn't mention you or you saying the Kop was placed there because of sunlight.

The only visible issues of trouble I can recall was with Leeds in 2005 and the Sheffield Wednesday flare/ lighter (delete as applicable) throwing last season. Oh, forgot the Wigan fans running to within three blocks of L1 with stewards, police and netting in the way flicking the V's and gesturing.

Whilst some are, you can't tar everyone with the same brush. A lot of family men are miserable, thuggish twats as well.

This is fvcking disgusting. Who in fvck thought of this idea? A school teacher? family-friendly environment that is enjoyable for all the family at an affordable price. Yes, let's rip-off long-term loyal supporters by making them pay up the arse prices. What is English Football? The purpose of these measures are to ensure that family groups continue to have access to an enjoyable matchday experience at King Power Stadium And degrade everyone else's experience.

Doing no harm, just cheering on the team and creating a better all round atmosphere. Really cant see the problem with that. The lads are right at the top of the stand out of the way, anyway. How the club can say they want a more "family friendly" experience when they hav the away fans right nxt to the family stand is beyond me.

Babylon Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 The saddest thing about this is I was at the Fulham game, and you could clearly see the positive impact N block was having on the family stand. Almost the whole way along people of all ages were jumping up and down and enjoying themselves. Shame on then club for wanting to ruin that. I really don't know what to say about the people that run our club. They must really hate a certain percentage of our support, ironically the percentage who give them the most money. It's very bad times for football in this country. Although, it has to be said, some clubs are slowly improving - we're going backwards. This is nothing to do with N block as it states on the website P1 to P3.

Stoke in 2007 is literally the only one I remember when I was in L1 from 2007 - 2010.

Whilst N is technically in the family stand, when I had a ST there when the stadium opened it was always treated differently.

I'd never have seen the attraction of football if I had to grow up with the conditions City encourage. I'm pretty much the only person I know from my school who still actively supports City, and most of them stopped following the club after Filbert Street went down.

If I want to sit in that stand I can, as a society we are supposed to be beyond treating people difference because of race, gender, age etc. But judging them by how much they earn is fine? Any steward who asks me to produce I.D to get into a football stadium will be met with a fcuk off, I'll just turn around and leave the stadium before I let some minimum wage nobody treating me like I'm entering a nightclub.
