Vacamion Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 0-1 Not Hart's fault. Defence overwhelmed...
kingfox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Three players around him, and nobody was able to pick him up.
purpleronnie Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 This thread isn't very busy at all. We must be doing well wait for it...............
Guest shearfox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Sucker punch , played so well we had all the possession, should have done more with it though...
whoareyaaa Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Smalling is awful always out of postion and slacking at the back doesn't look bothered.
foxfanazer Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Really poor defending after a couple of warnings
ScouseFox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 3 relatively free headers in 30 seconds. Well played boys.
Bert Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 We've dominated these. Don't care if they aren't playing their full strength team. We weren't on Friday but no-one bothered to mention that.
StanSP Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Diabolical defending. Not happy with defence for that marking and Sturridge for being wasteful.

We weren't on Friday but no-one bothered to mention that. Of course they will only use that to back their argument up... we are playing well so it will be because Germany had rested players and when we play poor doing the same that doesn't get a mention.
foxfanazer Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Gerrard might be losing his legs a little but what an excellent footballer he really is!
Vacamion Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 I think we've played some nice stuff. We look a better side than against Chile. Hodgson is learning stuff about his team. If we lost this it wouldn't be the end of the world. Although I bet the press would react as if the sky has fallen in... If we got a draw or win...bonus.
martyn Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Playing ok but not looked like scoring. Some nice stuff up to the edge of the box but end up getting crowded out or wasting it.

We are doing what we should be doing in friendlies trying things out, we have played the ball around nicely and looked dangerous, maybe over playing it around their box at times though .
Matt Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Bet365 you are a disgrace! England to win 13/2...Never seen such shite odds in my life.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Wow.....that was poor. Englands problem is that they do genuinely have 4 or 5 really good players, but they are surrounded equally for 4 or 5 players who are garbage. If dominating Germany is passing the ball round the back and doing nothing going forward then yeah fair play we've been decent. But first half, we've not had a shot on target...against Germanys B team.
Dan Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 We've not been that bad but we're lacking any spark, which is a surprise. Germany slowly getting better and probably deserve to be ahead. Woeful 'defending' for their goal.

I wouldn't even say we're full strength either. Clevery, Smalling, Walker, Lallana can't see any of these starting in the World Cup
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Don't think we've deserved a goal like the commentator said. We might have had loads of possession but Germany have looked solid, we haven't really challenged them for all our possession.
Guest shearfox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Chris Smalling is far from international class, got exposed three times in a row in less than a minute
Jimothy Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 If Smalling and Cleverley are the answers I don't want to know what the questions are!
Jimothy Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 There's not an international friendly thread, so just thought I'd mention Gibraltar have drawn their first ever match 0-0 with Slovakia.
Stadt Posted 19 November 2013 Author Posted 19 November 2013 If Smalling and Cleverley are the answers I don't want to know what the questions are!Who are England's worst players?
