Potential January signings

Blooming Rhodes will probably go to QPR so they can ply him upfront with Austin so they will solve their goal scoring problems. With QPR I still think there is only one auto up for grabs

So do I..

Petric released by West Ham. 32 but can finish, I bet we have a look there as he's on a free.

Decent striker, provided wages are reasonable we should definitely consider him.

Can't see us forking out for Rhodes, didn't he cost In the region of £8 mill?

He did.

Blackburn are up the crap per though and they know it. Would still cost half that though I think....

This marhez looks like a perfect signing, would give NP more options, e.g: playing knocky in the hole. Moses odubajo would be a good signing IMO, he's young and will only improve. As far as a striker goes, i'd be happy with either becchio or fryatt on loan for the rest of the season, if we got promoted, we'd obviously need better strikers than them, so i wouldn't take them on a permanent.

Mladen Petric is a good shout but i will not be surprised if QPR go in for him , i remember Harry on MOTD talking about how much he liked him as a player .

I don't see him fitting in well with our current setup.

If at all, he'll return to Switzerland and play somebody like Basel or Grasshopper.

Just scored for hull against fulham, looks like he's match fit and playing well after his loan at wednesday. Would you be happy if we signed him on loan?? Personally i would love to see him back.

He's just scored for Hull, why would they loan him out? Besides, Dyer has scored against Fulham too.

Im not just overreacting to him scoring, i've wanted him back for a while. To be fair, a donkey could've scored against fulham today.

I just knew that as soon as Fryatt scored, this thread would reappear with people begging for him to be resigned. He is an average striker at best and we have plenty of them already. No-one would bat an eyelid at him if he hadnt played for us in the past. Get over him already, we need to move forwards, not backwards.

For once i agree with this idiot.

He is not average. With regards to movement and finishing he is a class above Vardy and Nugent....especially when you consider the fact he doesn't have the pace that Vardy does.

I just don't know where he would fit in is my issue? Can't see him dropping Vardy or nugent. Vardy to right wing maybe? That's all I can think off. Would solve our right winger issue too. Maybe.

We don't need 5 new players. 2 strikers + 2 wingers is massive overloading. I agree we need a one winger and possibly a striker. But the you would pay for Anya whose worth 2-3mil now he international, Boyd who hull wouldn't sell and Tomlin because posh are thieving bastards would be way too expensive. Would have wickham or becchio on loan though.

Aaron Cresswell would be a good addition to the squad if we went up. Definitely a player a promoted team looks to bring up with them if they make it. A cut above most left backs in this league and very decent for the Prem. But again he would be worth the outlay for half a season especially while we have an inform and big money Konchesky. Cresswell would not be happy to sit on the bench on arriving and neither would Konch.

If you read the whole post i did say we should and will not sign them all.

The Thread is titled 'Potential January signings' and all the players i listed are both realistic signings (At least compared to Rhodes, Petric etc), and would improve the squad.
