Stadt Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Would add a much-needed goal threat too. His record speaks for itself: 2000-current. Everton Apps: 259 Goals: 0 (0) Scored in his testimonial though
Albert Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 I see Bolton have announced 163m debts and are looking to offload players. I'd take Chris Eagles in a heartbeat
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 I would take Eagles but unsure why he never played against us the other day
Tielemans63 Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 I see Bolton have announced 163m debts and are looking to offload players. I'd take Chris Eagles in a heartbeat Eagles is at the beak of his career but he's nothing to crow about. (sorry)

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Eagles is at the beak of his career but he's nothing to crow about. (sorry) Stop trying to be funny by winging it paddy,
pazzerfox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 I would take Eagles but unsure why he never played against us the other day Not bad going forward but very weak defensively, wouldn't touch him.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Eagles is at the beak of his career but he's nothing to crow about. (sorry)You should be tarred and feathered for that comment
fleckneymike Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Max Alain Gradel With a mooted return to Leeds in the offing does anyone else think he would have faired much better under the current Nigel Pearson than the one who had to sacrifice style for substance in the first play off push? With Knockaert given free reign to do what he wishes and reported interest in another French (Algerian for the pedants) tricky wide man would attack and be brave Pearson be the perfect manager for Gradel now? I would like to point out I dont want him back as he'd cost way too much, I'd just be intrigued to see how he fared in the side. Dyer on one side and Gradel on the other. EDITED TO SAY nor would I start him over Knockaert
Sampson Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 We'd probably be worse off with Gradel in the side over Knockaert.
Guest MattP Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Wouldn't play Gradel over Knocky or Dyer. My mate who works at football radar and covers Ligue 1 said to me its a bit of a myth that he's been brilliant since joining them and hes actually considered quite average. Hoping we'll be a premiership side very soon and if that's the case we should be aiming for a higher standard of player than him.
Jimmy Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 would love to see him back, him and Knockaert in the same team would mean a lot of goals
Kitchandro Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 He wouldn't get in our starting 11 at the moment. Having said that anyone who wouldn't have him in our squad is crazy. He took the piss for Leeds in this league.
Bettsj2 Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Anyone remember the 'Where's Maxi Gradel?' Call on the phone in about a year after we sold him?
Stadt Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 4231 Kasper RDL Morgan Moore Donkey Drinky James Gradel Knocky Dyer Becchio/Wickham/other That would be immense.
LCCFox96 Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 4231 Kasper RDL Morgan Moore Donkey Drinky James Gradel Knocky Dyer Becchio/Wickham/other That would be immense. Would be good but can't see how it's justifiable that vardy gets dropped. I genuinely think wickham or becchio on loan is good, realistic signing if we can do a deal - even if only for a few months. Also was donkey auto correct or are you just not a fan of Konchesky?
ScouseFox Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Currently I wouldn't drop Dyer or Knocky. There will presumably be a time when a different option (one as good as Gradel can be) would be terrific, though. I love Knocky to bits but he has off games and occasionally gets taken off without doing much at all, if we had a Gradel to bring on instead of a (God love him) GTF we would have already won this league. It's not gonna happen and he's not gonna come back but to answer the hypothetical question, yes, he'd look even better in our side now than he did in the old side or in any Leeds side he played in.
ramadaone Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Please not Patrick Bamford. He went to my school and he's really no better than Waghorn. Well he won't stay on loan at MK that is for sure
Guest MattP Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 4231 Kasper RDL Morgan Moore Donkey Drinky James Gradel Knocky Dyer Becchio/Wickham/other That would be immense. Why would you make so many changes to a team that is four points clear at the top? I wouldn't drop Vardy for Wickham or Becchio.
cc_star Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 would love to see him back, him and Knockaert in the same team would mean a lot of goals For all Knockaert's plus points his lack of pace means his workrate isn't great, despite his huffing, puffing making it look like he is & his passion of course which automatically gives him a +99 rating. Unlike Dyer, Gradel's never was either I think we'd see our fullbacks horribly exposed and a lot of goals shipped too Gradel would be a potentially good asset in the squad though
ramadaone Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Please not Patrick Bamford. He went to my school and he's really no better than Waghorn.Going to Derby Not sure if that is good news or not ?
Fox92 Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 I wouldn't want him over Knockaert but I'd like to see him back. Said since we lost Marshall that we've needed a decent right midfielder, and Gradel could be the player. Mind you, with my idea that would mean dropping one striker because I fancied Dyer -- Knockaert (behind) -- Gradel.
Stocker Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 would love to see Max back my favourite player in league 1 season
ramadaone Posted 31 December 2013 Posted 31 December 2013 Connor Wickham for me, 20 years old, bags of potential, we need young hungry talent, we don't want over-paid has- beens. Staying at SW
